We stayed at AKA Times Square for about 2 and a half weeks - over Christmas and New Year in a penthouse suite with 3 children. We had a fantastic stay and 100% recommend it to you! The suite was lovely. It had everything that we needed for our stay and it was very clean. Importantly, we were able to cook dinner occasionally and eat breakfast before big days of touristing (which saved a tonne of money, as well as our waistlines!) The location of AKA is awesome - it is right in the middle of all of the action, a very short walk to 3 subway stations, and in walking distance of all of the main tourist spots. We even got really close to the action on NYE - which was absolutely amazing - all we did was walk out to the street at 11:30pm and we were right in the middle of it! The trade-off is the noise - at night, there are a lot of sirens and the air-con units are running throughout the city. It can be fairly loud, but you get used to it pretty quickly - and it's probably something that is common to all accommodation at Times Square. The staff at AKA are just beautiful. They greet your every morning, and after a long day out, it really is just like getting home! Our 6 year old daughter fell in love with Fran (on the front desk) and she would tell her all about our day when we got back and show her the souvenirs she had bought. It was so cute! If you are considering staying here, just hit the book button. You won't be disappointed.

My stay at AKA Times Square was truly exceptional — hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely incredible. Every single person went above and beyond to be welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. Their professionalism and warmth made the stay feel effortless and special from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful — modern, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt upscale yet relaxing, which made it the perfect place to unwind after long days in the city. The location could not be better. It’s right in the heart of Times Square, making it easy to see and do everything, yet still felt like a calm retreat. It was an excellent spot for getting downtown and especially perfect for experiencing the New Year’s Eve ball drop without stress. I can’t recommend AKA Times Square enough. Between the outstanding staff, the amazing hotel, and the unbeatable location, this was an unforgettable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return — this place truly sets the standard for what a hotel should be.

We love our stay here. Will definitely choose AKA again on our next stay. The room we booked was very spacious and got the homey vibes. The people at the front desk were very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Nothing to complain.

AKA Times Square was absolutely perfect for our family. The two-bedroom apartment-style suite gave us plenty of space and comfort, making it ideal for traveling with kids. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The location couldn’t have been better—just a block from Times Square and unbeatable for New Year’s Eve. For security reasons, NYPD closed off our street before sunrise on December 31, allowing access only to hotel guests. The result? A private NYE block party right outside our hotel, complete with music, the countdown, and confetti—without having to stand in Times Square from 6 a.m. to midnight. It was an unexpected and unforgettable bonus, and we truly felt like we lucked out. We’re choosing to believe it’s a sign that 2026 will be full of lucky breaks 🤞🏻 Highly recommend AKA Times Square for families and anyone looking for comfort, safety, and an unbeatable NYC experience.

I was more than happy to find a pristine suite upon my late night arrival. I can't say enough about this property. The pool, gym, business center, breakfast in the morning and above all the friendliness of the staff made this the best experience traveling I have had traveling in my career!

Staying with AKA is always a pleasure. Among all amenities and services, coming from another country it is nice to have access to a large range of foreign TV channels. Most may not notice this but when English is not your native language these are the touches that make you feel at home.

Coming into the city for a night at time is easy when staying at AKA. No matter how late I may arrive, my suite is always ready and the front desk staff is always exceptional. They called a car service for me and even got me into my favorite restaurant.
