This hotel is a jewel in the middle of NYC. Apartments are very big and staff are very attentive and cater to any request. I would go to the extent of saying this may be the best hotel in the city, very glad i even got to stay for a night!

Second visit to NYC and stayed with friends who have young kids... the apartments were AMAZING and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcomed. Spacious rooms and the rooftop area... WOW! Loved the facilities and truly the most amazing location you could ask for!! Will definitely stay here again!

Booked online using Excited to find nice hotel near Times Square / Midtown with kitchen included (at least according to our booking confirmation). Slightly disappointed on arrival to find out our penthouse suite was actually just a hotel room, one of the few that did not include those amenities. Very nice hotel room - large king size bed, large bathroom with glass and tile shower (no tub), but no other amenities like a couch to sit on or even a mini fridge to keep drinks. We spent extra money buying drinks / snacks daily at a small deli across the street because there was no fridge, no ice or vending machines, or hotel restaurant. Recommend booking with live person to make sure you are getting what is advertised, seemed like non-penthouse rooms on lower floors were the one and two bedroom suites with small living and kitchen areas. Penthouse area was just hotel rooms, and a little pricey for just a room without those extra amenities. Hotel was beautifully designed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooftop patio was nice feature. Close to many restaurants, just a block off Times Square and from theatres, just a few blocks from metro stations. Room itself was nice, very recently completed, and had decent city view of street corner and edge of Bryant Park, just not what we thought we were going to have based on our online reservation. Recommend staying here if you're looking at this area of NYC, but talk to live person when booking to make sure you get what you really want / expect.

My husband and I booked this hotel, a self contained apartment. We were impress with the size and the location. Just a few steps away from Times Square. This hotel has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It has all the amenities you need, all you need is to ask. The area has a wonderful organic supermarket called Whole Foods it has everything. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. We stayed for 13 nights in June. We were able to wash and dry our clothes, in our own apartment, just that alone is a big advantage when travelling. We would definitely come back. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all staff at AKA
