I visit Manhattan at least twice a year for pleasure. Each stay is two weeks, more or less. I have stayed at AKA Times Square for each of my visits for the past 5-6 years. I have always been more than satisfied with my experiences there. The rooms are fully self-contained apartments. They are clean and spacious and well-appointed. The location is absolutely perfect as far as I'm concerned. It is walking distance to everything in Midtown, and it is, at most, a two block walk to every subway line that runs through Manhattan. That means you are never more than 20-25 minutes from anywhere you might want to be in Manhattan, from The Battery to The Met Cloisters. The real gem of the place is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to step up with whatever it takes to make your stay perfect. I have stayed there enough to know that the staff turnover is very low, and the folks on staff really seem to enjoy being there. The last thing that I will mention is security, which is understandably a concern for many people. Even though the hotel is located a mere 1/2 block from Times Square, you will feel very safe and secure. There is always a person on duty at the front door and another person on duty at the front desk. The lobby is very small, so anyone entering the building must walk past them both. They know everybody who is a registered guest at any given time. No one who is not a registered guest is going to get past them unless they are being escorted by a registered guest. If you are unnerved by the chaos of Times Square, you will find this to be a pleasant sanctuary.

Our family's long stay was facilitated by Tina, Julio, Esther, Kevin, Elliott as the efficient team at the Front Desk. Housekeeping services by Diana were excellent. And Engineering issues were quickly resolved by Jamie on our first night. With a washing machine and full kitchen the long stay was made easier, not to mention the access to grocery stores at walking distance along with main attractions. The facilities were safe, clean and well-stocked with caring staff members.

We stayed at AKA Times Square on a longer-term basis. They provided a top notch furnished apartment in a great central location and the staff are extremely helpful and responsive. Cannot recommend enough! We will be back!

We stayed 17 nights. We love this hotel. Plenty of space, clean, exceptionally friendly staff and having a washer and dryer is so key when we're at the hotel for so long. Rates are high, but compared to other hotels in NY, very reasonable for what you get.

Each time I visit AKA Times Square, I feel more and more at hope. The staff are absolutely wonderful and caring, and the rooms are always kept fresh and clean. Having Un, Deux, Trois next door is like having an in house restaurant! I go to tons of Broadway shows, and this is the absolute best location right on the nose. There are many restaurants within one block, and there is a Bodega with food and drinks right across the street. Highly recommended.

I was more than happy to find a pristine suite upon my late night arrival. I can't say enough about this property. The pool, gym, business center, breakfast in the morning and above all the friendliness of the staff made this the best experience traveling I have had traveling in my career!

Staying with AKA is always a pleasure. Among all amenities and services, coming from another country it is nice to have access to a large range of foreign TV channels. Most may not notice this but when English is not your native language these are the touches that make you feel at home.

Coming into the city for a night at time is easy when staying at AKA. No matter how late I may arrive, my suite is always ready and the front desk staff is always exceptional. They called a car service for me and even got me into my favorite restaurant.
