AKA Times Square

I had a very positive experience at AKA Times Square, I would like to particularly commend Elliot who attends the front desk with immense diligence and professionalism. I would also like to commend Denise who worked equally diligently with excellent customer service in the complimentary refreshments area of the facility. Overall, an excellent and positive experience.

Unfortyunatelly for us, the expectations had been set up quite high given the pictures shown in AKA's website. We got a 2 bedroom suite that was located on the inside or internal side of the building, overlooking to the heart of it, where central air coniditioning systems are located. -Not a glimpse of sunlight. It was dark as if we were living in a basement. - Very dirty windows given that machines produce a lot of dust probably. - By night, the sound of these equipments is quite notable. It is not quiet at all. And besides that our internal air conditioning system did not work, so when hot, we couldnot cool our space. The rate we were charged clearly was absolutely in line qith the pictures and not with our reallity. GYm has only a few machines. It is quite small in fact. Would not say I am impressed, rather the opposite. Good location for Times Square Lovers. Nice and afable team working at the reception. But that would not make me repeat the experience.

We enjoyed our stay in AKA Times Square. We were able to navigate the city easily from the central location and had fantastic access to all the theaters. We stayed in the 2 different 2 bedroom units and both were great. We were upgraded to the penthouse which was a 2 bed/2.5bath that was HUGE and had one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever been in! We also spent a night in a premium 2 bedroom which was recently refurbished (everything seemed brand new!) and so quiet despite being adjacent to times square. Both rooms had full washers/dryers and real kitchens as well as comfy beds. My kids prefer eating at home, and we were able to walk 1.5 blocks to the Whole Foods in Bryant Park to get everything we needed. If you are hoping for any type of view or a fancy lobby, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this place is close to perfect.

Best stay! Stayed here with my husband during our anniversary and had such a wonderful time. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, spacious living room and bedroom - you can’t ever find it in all other NYC hotels except AKA. Will definitely come back!

Everything was wonderful! The rooms were very comfortable. The location was amazing: we had Times Square close, tons of restaurants. It was always pretty clean. Everything was perfect! The service was also amazing; shoutout to Kevin, who made our days there a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend 💖
