I visited with my teenage daughter for a long weekend. The hotel was nice but totally rammed with young large parties. The noise on the hotel corridors was unbearable, starting from 11pm through to 3am. It was also incredibly loud outside the hotel window. The hotel did not take this seriously and said this was normal for a weekend. The restaurant for breakfast was souless and food wasn't great. The area that the hotel is in was a great area but I certainly would not recommend the hotel.

Stayed at the manhattan suite with my family for 4 weekdays. The suite was nice and spacious with a little step out balcony as well. The staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel as an impressive rooftop lounge as well with sweeping views. There is a small rooftop pool as well which we did not use. By virtue of being in the meatpacking district, I am certain this hotel gets wild and noisy over the weekends like the neighboring standard and the dream but we had a 'normal' stay from Mon-Thu.

The rooms are actually a good size for NYC standards. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly quiet, clean, bathroom is small but well laid out & the beds are very comfortable. There is a very popular nite-club on the top floor of the hotel. However the staff does a very good job of managing the crowd and keeping them off the floors with rooms. When you come in the evening, be prepared to show your room key to the security staff at the elevators. Over all this hotel is excellent!

We checked in to the hotel around 1:00 am, and employees still opened the door for us with a smile on their face. The hotel has excellent facilities, including a roof top pool, a bar and nice views. If it is drizzling, come to the pool. There is a cover and nobody is there. Excellent experience and I would recommend.

I really liked this hotel and had a great stay. The location is excellent and in the best portion of the Meatpacking District, which is my one of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC. The service was great, and more polite than expected in NY. Check in was super easy and fast and exactly what I needed. Actual room was fine. Not amazing, but fine. Artwork and design a little dated, but not worth complaining about, and not in need of renovation yet. Give it another year or two and they will have to refresh. Bathroom was shockingly big for NY. Rooftop pool is incredible and was much needed as it was in the mid 90s last week. Rooftop bar at night is still very popular, even in a city that is always looking for the newest thing. On a Wednesday night, it was nearly packed and full of young and beautiful professionals, and a few older guys who are attracted to the former, but not too many. Great vibe, beautiful views, and just a lot of fun. Downstairs lobby, bar, and restaurant are all nice as well. Price seemed a little high for me. I paid $500 for the night, which was a lot less than the Standard or any others right nearby which I was considering. All in all. I'd recommend this for anyone under 45 who wants a fun hotel in a great location. Not necessarily the best for families or old people, but they are probably not reading this anyway. Have fun.
