A sleek retreat from the urban metropolis of the world's most recognized city, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC offers swanky downtown chic with a hint of uptown luxury. The soaring ultramodern façade, lavish amenities, and tony vibe of Manhattan's premier hotel transforms the boisterous Meatpacking District into the most sought after hot spot in the Big Apple. Inspired by the hip, cool feel of the 1960's and 70's, a bold, bright color palate of fuchsia, magenta, plum, and champagne creates a classically mod ambiance throughout the property. Lavish details like a heated rooftop pool with underwater sound-system and resplendent 5,000 square foot spa with exclusive hair studio provides contemporary comforts and a chance to be pampered like never before.

the stay at the hotel was fine. My problem began after I tried to book again, and the hotel did not respect the price they committed too (in writing). Since then I am trying to get their response with no success.

All booked in for 17/10/25 and had to ring the hotel for some help and was faced with such a hurrendous customer experience, basically didn’t want to help us and want to charge £100 a night for someone to make a bed. It’s our daughter’s 16th birthday present, not a great start.

Great location, visited the hotel several times over the years; this time will be our last. Hotel needs modernising for the price. Sleep was an issue from the constant door slamming from other residents. Great pool/service team upstairs and concierge team! No coffee machine in the rooms still? We left disappointed after this visit and could see the hotel's demise after each stay. Notified management via email; poor response and communication from them, resulted in us being ignored. Great location...hotel needs improvement.

The hotel is located incredibly! Evyrthjbg is good around. 14th street is pretty bad right now, but still being at this hotel you can enjoy the beautiful city. The room was small (superior queen), and the elevator was broken during our whole stay (3 nights and there’s only 2 elevators). The gym was very good a very complete. The pool was great (small but does it job great). The hotel need a make up renovation.

We spent 6 nights here as part of our trip to New York to see the tennis at the US Open. The hotel was in a great location for coffee shops and restaurants and it was really easy access the Hudson for a morning run and then come back to the room with some lovely breakfast. Chelsea market is near the hotel which contains loads of places to eat/drink and shop. The hotel is also 2 minutes walk to the high line. The hotel is really nice and the staff are very polite. The pool on the roof top is great to visit and enjoy the New York skyline but the price to hire sun beds is extremely expensive, but guests can access the lounging chairs for free. The rooftop is very busy on a weekend. There is also a modern gym. The only negatives were that the hotel doesn’t give you fresh drinking water every day. We also had to ask for a kettle (which was provided) but then we realised we had no cups either! Great hotel in a great location, we were disappointed to leave.
