Great hotel! The Rooftop Bar has amazing views and it's a must if you're in New York City. I ate dinner on the terrace below and had an amazing evening, with great food. The staff was friendly, energetic and helpful. Next time I'm in New York, I'm going to stay at The James because my experience was so good!

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend in a corner room with an amazing view of the Freedom Tower. The hotel is clean, well organized and centrally located. The views of the City are fantastic. I invited friends for drinks at Jimmy's where we had a great time. The best part of all is that everyone is nice and greet you with a big smile. I would definitely be back!

Lovely hotel and close to our office in Hudson, so no complaints there (appreciate I’m biased) For me, the reception and entrance is clearly built for instagram - really nice. Rooms themselves were very small, but clean. No desk to sit out - just a small table at the end of the bed. Shower room was also small, but fully functional. Great towels (no one likes crappy old towels). Gym on the 17th floor has a great view over the city. Also a short run to the bridge and back too! Scones and coffee every morning were also great. Breakfast was OK, i asked for sparkling water one morning and was charged an extra $8! If you do stay, you also must visit Black Tap (burger place) 2 blocks away..

This is our 5th stay at this 18 story hotel at the South-West tip of Soho. This time we got a larger corner room on a higher floor with a great view of the Soth Manhattan skyline. Overall a positive experience but I do have two issues: -The extra "resort charge" for internet/coffee/muffins/wine hour. Not cool! - The numerous stations on the convenient 17 story gym's cardio equipment were mostly crap, to the point that I actually ended up watching Fox....

I had about 5 hours sleep after The Grammys and decided to treat myself to a nice hotel. It was really nice. Good bedding, strong shower, clean, (a bit tiny room), but the magic of it all was the breakfast that was part of the room price. Delicious ham and egg omelette, whole wheat toast, salad, great coffee. I will for sure be going back again!
