This is a repeat visit. Our first few visits in years prior were much more organized and courteous. The Viking is aware of concerns. The wedding venue was nice. The pool location caused problems for the guests of the wedding. Also it was very cold, had to call in a technician to get the heat on in the event area. Do not trust guests of the hotel walking by event. Gifts taken. Very sad experience for the bride and groom.

I stayed at Hotel Viking for a quick work related trip and it was awful. I could hear every single word of a conversation of the man in the room next to me talking on the phone. I could hear if the person above me even rolled over in their bed, let alone every single footstep. If you consider a 4 star hotel one with popcorn ceilings and a tub/shower that hasn't been updated in 25 years, then this the hotel for you! I almost couldn't wait for the person at the front desk to ask how my stay was but of course, that courtesy was never paid! Might have been the worst night of sleep I've ever encountered in a hotel! Their website is misleading....yes, their lobby is updated but you will regret staying there.

Our son's wedding was a large family and friend experience! The Viking staff made everything better. From early arrivals to air conditioning trouble; all was solved quickly and well. The Valet Staff were amazing; engaging, accomodating, and so polite!!!

Long lines at check in, late housekeeping service, over priced Fuji water ($6), gym style shared bathroom amenities, long line at valet, chipped paint and dirty bathroom floor, 1/2 drank bottle of lemonade delivered to my room as an amenity. Details, details, details!
