Top notch all around. The suite was amazing and the staff looks after every need. Can not ask for more! We were afforded personalized service and never had to ask for anything! Never expected the hotel to be as warm and inviting as it turned out to be. Will be a return guest!

The Viking never lets you down! It was an amazing romantic stay with impeccable service. The bed and linen were luxurious giving us a perfect night sleep away from the everyday stressors. The bar downstairs has a new modern look, and the drinks were a refreshing night cap. We can't wait to visit again soon.

We stayed for a wedding and we’re impressed by the grounds and the venue. However, we stayed 2 nights in the hotel and had a horrible time sleeping. The rooms were fine but the beds were so uncomfortable that we woke up multiple times in the middle of the night. Other members of the wedding party had the same experience 😭

What an amazing and wonderful surprise to come across on our way to Pittsburgh. This property is awesome! Everyone is very gracious, friendly and most helpful. All the staff members are very engaged with each individual guest. The hotel is situated in the most perfect area of Newport and is an easy walk to wherever you choose to go. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the entire hotel is exceptionally well kept and very clean. This is a MUST stop along your travels. Don't miss out on a chance to stay at this lovely property!

The Hotel Viking is a well-run, historic hotel in a great location in Newport. The staff is professional and accommodating. One word of caution: Beware of the 08 rooms. There is a service elevator running through he middle of the hotel next to these rooms. The sound from the elevator pretty much sounded like fingernails on a chalk board - and it started at 5:00 am. We went the front the front desk and got a room change - but we still lost a lot of sleep. Otherwise, everything was great!
