Rude and uncaring front desk staff. The drains in both the sink and tub didn't drain. The toilet was loose and moved on the floor when you sat on it. The carpet was filthy and never vacuumed during our whole stay. There was a water bottle from a previous guest under the bed that was never removed while we were were there. The ceiling of the bathroom was peeling and the tiles in the bathroom had mold/mildew on them. Overall wasn't worth a dime let alone the hundreds we paid. I could continue but not worth the time...

This is a charming building in an a very attractive and convenient location. However lots was not up to par. One room had AC so loud that it prevented a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was very good, however it was very limited in scope. In fact it was similar, at least in variety, to being not much more than what one would find in a roadside Hampton Inn. We were a group of three couples and every one of our bills had errors and screw ups. In fact one of our rooms had a record of no-one having actually been there. It was a total mess.

Hotel front desk staff needs an immediate refresher on customer service. Sad when house keeping is better equipped with making you feel welcomed, door men were friendly as well. Rooms were average but below average for the price. Stop by for a drink to say you've been there but plan stay elsewhere.

All you would expect from hotel of such historic importance, from the friendly, helpful valet service to the informative reception staff. We were made to feel very welcome and had a memorable one night stay.

We loved the Hotel Viking! The rooms are lovely and the staff friendly and attentive. The location is great and you can walk to many restaurants and stores. It is a busy place but the staff seems to handle everything with finesse.
