We had been to Niagara-on-the-Lake several times and just wanted to go somewhere for a couple of days. Some friends told us about the Harbour House and we book a Sunday and Monday night. Not located in the heart of town, but conveniently maybe three blocks away, this place overlooks the Niagara River and is quieter than what you might find on the main roads. This place has a lot of charm, the room was lovely with a gas fired fireplace. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is both friendly and very helpful with such details as recommendations for dining. Note that breakfast is served, actually a very nice European style buffet with meats, cheeses, breads and an egg dish, but there is no lunch or evening dining. It really does not matter because of the good choices nearby.

Loved everything the town is so beautiful with an assortment of items to choose from. Love the ghost walk it really gave a detailed history of the town. Our hotel made our weekend even more special. Our room was so warm and inviting. Loved the spacious interior , our huge and cozy king bed!!! When we came back from a 2 hr ghost walk your jacuzzi tub was amazing. We warmed up fast under a very cozy warm and comfortable bed while the fireplace gave off more warmth. Breakfast was perfect. Love the assortment of items from lots to crèche. My husband and I also enjoyed the homemade cheese spread and wine gathering each night before going out for diner. Great way to start our evening. A special thanks to the staff at the HARBOUR HOTEL. All where very accommodating and informative which helped make our trip more memorable. So looking forward to returning, and we will 😊😊😊😊

My husband surprised me with a weekend away at Harbour House. It was a great place with friendly helpful staff. Our room was great with many little touches that you wouldn't expect, personalized letter head, a personalized welcome note. Nice things that the "big" guys can't be bothered with. Wine and cheese snacks in the lobby were also appreciated. Shout out to Dave, our shuttle driver who driver who dropped us off and picked us up all weekend, sweet man with lots of knowledge about the area. We will definitely be back.

I booked for 3 couples to stay here for one night in the middle of a week in Toronto. Nothing but praise for this hotel - wonderful touches such as cheese and wine tasting each day and a shuttle service to local restaurants. Very clean and tastefully decorated with great friendly staff. All 3 couples thought this was just a delightful place to stay with a lovely breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here on 11/5/17. There were unique touches from the moment we arrived that continued to present themselves during our stay. For instance, at check-in I was excited by a coffee espresso machine. They have a nice movie collection, a tasty wine and cheese hour, delicious "continental" breakfast and our room was beautiful. They left us a special welcome gift because we were celebrating our anniversary, the room was lovely and all members of the staff always greeted us with a smile and "hello". It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, we hope to return some time soon.
