Reviews for Harbour House Hotel
Harbour House offers a stress free get away from check-in to check-out. Pleasant efficient staff offer assistance to wineries, restaurants, and the theatres in a friendly "we love Niagara-on-the-Lake" kind of way. Thank you Jessica in making this trip so special. It was nice to see Alexandros again, and thanks to Joanne who drove us in the complimentary shuttle service offered by the Hotel. The rooms are cozy in feel but not in size, cleanliness is a priority here and the comfortable bed makes it hard to leave in order to start your day. Breakfast offers efficient and friendly staff serving a varied buffet which includes a daily strata from their cookbook, always a nice surprise. The location is excellent offering a short walk to the Shaw Theatre, downtown, to the Lake or strolling the beautiful streets and enjoying their gardens, some simply magnificent. After our previous trip which offered a few glitches, it is nice to know we returned to our much loved and seemingly improved Harbour House once again. See you again soon----

Arrived late (2130) for a business meeting the following day in nearby st Catherine's. Check in team could not have been more helpful. They even gave me a ride into town to find a pub serving food, and came to collect me (plus a couple also staying in the hotel) in the hotel minivan. Room large, comfortable; breakfast unfussy and tasty.

The Harbour House is very pleasantly situated in this delightful heritage town, close to its main historic sites and also to the Shaw Festival theatres. Well appointed and excellently kept, the breakfast (included) is both delicious and varied with attentive service.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We arrived after a long day (3 hour drive to the falls, falls tour and then on to NOTL before dinner) and immediately loved Harbour House. The staff were so friendly and welcoming on check in, asked if we needed any help booking dinner (we didn't), or any help getting to our reservation (they run a shuttle service). We got to our room which was gorgeous - nautical theme, log fire, huge bed, great shower - and there was a card to wish us a happy anniversary, as well as a bottle of sparking fruit juice (I'm pregnant). Lovely touch! The place is so laid back and chilled, and even though it's just a 5 minute walk to the main street, it feels like you are a million miles away when you get back there. The whole experience couldn't have been better and we will definitely be back.

While the rooms were great, walk-in shower, Jacuzzi deep tub, even a cookie in the room and other small but very thoughtful touches.... the breakfast was amazing. We had to get the recipe for the strawberry French toast that just had us coming back for more. The afternoon and evening shuttle service was great to get around to the restaurants for dinner! This is one hotel worth multiple visits.
