The staff at Pillar and Post works as a team to make sure you have the most enjoyable stay. You never heard "that is not my job." Instead it was -" can I help you." You would see Peter driving the shuttle, bringing luggage in, working behind the desk, helping in the pub. Tara, Food and Beverage Manager, filling in for a staff out ill. She was so friendly and made you feel welcomed. Margaret took great care in making sure our room was fresh and clean, complete with a rose. She took great pride in where she worked. Loved our bed. Did not want to get out of it. The food was excellent-breakfast off menu or their great breakfast buffet (wonderful omelets). We had an event dinner buffet and everything, chicken, beef, pasta, were hot, moist and tasty. Staff was present to make sure it was a pleasant experience. We had a great time at the Spa (80 minute massages - Scott was great). Having a shuttle service available made it so nice to go into town to shop or dine. It was a huge benefit. Thank you Matt for suggesting Bistro 61. We had an opportunity to talk to the General Manager. You could tell why the Pillar and Post is such a great place. Highly recommend going there for a fun get away or special event. We were there with the Rochester Corvette Club.

The Pillar and the Post boasts masculine charm and decor with it's strong wood beams and exposed brick. Yet touches of feminine charm with it's fresh roses, placed perfectly in every room and ambient lighting. The Inn is inviting and welcoming with it's wonderful staff ready to greet you as you arrive. Niagara on the lake is beautiful and a must see, however you will find it hard at times to leave. The inn has everything you need! It's a beautiful thing to see people truly enjoying themselves and completely relaxing from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will find people walking around with wine and robes in the spa area (which is a complete retreat in itself) and others dozing off by the fire. You will enjoy many other amenities like the indoor pool, hot tub, hot springs (which is fabulous), Sauna, outdoor heated pool, weight room, dining room, lounge, outdoor fire table and more. The food is incredible at the restaurant along with impeccable service and ambience, a real treat!! The rustic and elegant charm also carries into your rooms so staying in and ordering rooms service is always a great option too! You will find delightful, subtle touches around the entire inn during your stay!! The staff is very accommodating, eager to make your stay special and ready to meet any of requests within their means. Needless to say the Pillar and The Post is definitely "A Great Escape" where you can rest, relax and indulge!! This is why we keep going back and why you need to go experience it....enjoy! Carrie D

Just stayed at the Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake. My friends and I had a fabulous time. The staff are so friendly – they always approached us – we didn’t have to reach out to them. Indoor and outdoor pools! Dinner was great. The prime rib was so tender. The hotel is very relaxed but still luxurious. I will be back!

Scott gave me the best massage ever! He also gave me lots of good advice on how to take better care of my back! And the spa was beautiful, comforting, and relaxing. Lovely indoor and outdoor pools, including hot springs. Comfortable towels, robes, and slippers. Many different services to choose from!
