Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

We have been looking forward to our stay at this resort for quite some time, and it did not disappoint. Truly one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever experienced. The accommodations, beaches, fitness center, spa, food, and last, but certainly at least, the staff were all incredible! I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about our stay… Our goal was to experience a quiet, serene, peaceful, yet beautiful setting. Our expectations were exceeded! We just returned ( late September) and the rainy season was just starting, so do some research on the weather patterns before you book your stay. We look forward to our return visit!

Just returned home from a great stay at SS NV Bay. Family of four, two children 19 and 21. Stayed for 6 nights in family beach villa. We had bed and breakfast plus the 'sweet sixteen' package. We were at the end of a three week holiday mainly through Vietnam. Having stayed at another SS in Thailand last year we were looking forward to an equally relaxing stay at the NV Bay SS and it delivered exactly that but so much more. As with most SS part of the experience is the journey there. The airport transfer was seamless and the boat transfer (20 minutes) was spectacular - as my son commented it felt like something out of a James Bond movie! We stayed at a family beach villa (#17) which was well placed for restaurants, activities, spa etc. the villa was kept spotless throughout our stay (hats off to the housekeeping team). The villas do show their age (vs newer resorts) in small ways (eg no usb points) but are I think are beautiful, in an understated way, an ofcourse come with amazing views of the beach and bay - the reason you’re there! The pool in the villa is lovely and was well kept and maintained. The only comment on the villa from my adult / teenage children was the size of the single beds in their room - which were on the small size (more suitable for children) but they did comment that they were extremely comfortable! Food was superb. We ate at both of the two main restaurants, one more western one more Vietnamese cuisine. There are a number of dining experiences available and we had private dining at the Cave on our penultimate nights stay - highly recommend it. My wife is vegetarian and over the years this has been a challenge in some Asian hotels but at SSNV Bay they have separate vegetarian menus at all of the restaurants and to be honest I suspect will make you pretty much anything you want - one evening we wanted items from one of the restaurants that was closed and they organised for us. This was actually arranged by our superb GEM/ Butler Ryo Truong who I cannot praise highly enough. He really made our stay special by ensuring that everything ‘worked’ for us. As part of our package we had daily experiences, raging from a hike through the hills (very special, as we got to see up close a huge family of langur monkey's), snorkelling, fishing, cookery class, massage, to name but a few. Ryo organised all of these for us without any issues - when you consider he was, I’m sure, GEM for a number of guests, it was no small feet. If you can I’d highly recommend staying for a duration where activities are included. Facilities at the resort are very good, we played tennis every day and the court is beautiful, well maintained and with an amazing backdrop of the mountain behind - also periodically attended by langur monkeys (who judging by their noise I suspect were not that impressed with our tennis play!!). They also have pickle courts, badminton, jungle gym, indoor gym (again amazing view of the bay as it’s up the hill behind the spa), spa (which also is stunning - a massage whilst listening to a rock waterfall is a formative experience!) and others. Do note that the resort is large, bikes are provided but we never waited for a buggy when we requested one. Two small tips, take advantage of the free ice cream (open 10 to 4.30pm), which is a SS thing - really good! Attend the weekly guest drinks - a great way to meet the management team (who are all superb, Greg, Walter et al.) but also a great way to end the day with a drink on the beach as the sun sets - beautiful. A mention to Greg the MD who runs a great team at the resort and appears to be ever present - not a given at a lot of hotels and to me at least shows that he’s focused, as are all of the team, on making sure your stay is as good as it can be. Overall the resort was as it promised, a real nature haven with amazing service and hospitality, full of experiences that will stay with us for a long time. Thank you!

We had such an incredible experience at Six Senses! We were blown away by how gorgeous the resort is, the staff, and everything from start to finish. We booked the hillside villa, and while it was 5-7 min or so walk up to the top it didn't bother us at all. We loved being secluded and able to look down at the island. The rooms were perfect, loved the outdoor shower, pool and "living room" where we ate and had our morning coffee. Ryo Truong looked after us while we were there, and he was the best. So helpful and responsive, and he helped us with a quick flight change and turnaround. The staff were all so kind and we genuinely had the best time. Definitely do the lobster and sashimi dinner. That was our favorite, and we did the private beach-side seafood feast, which was amazing too. We saw lots of monkeys and other creatures and loved being in nature. Gym was amazing too! Highly recommend.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is an extremely beautiful and well kept resort for its age. Stayed in a hill top villa with beautiful views of the bay. Villa is predominantly made of wood and bamboo and has a truly rustic feel to it. Villa is spacious with all the modern amenities but it does take a short hike to get to. Rate came with a semi buffet breakfast which is great. I personally love the noodle station and the variety of fruits on offer. As you are on the islets, you have to dine at the resort, the main 2 restaurants are dining by the pool and dinning by the bay. I personally preferred the Vietnamese options compared to the western ones, felt they were tastier and more flavourful than the pizza ordered. The bar at the jetty is extremely picturesque both in the day and evening, worth lazing around there with a drink in hand. There is also complimentary ice cream every afternoon at the ice cream corner. Stayed for 3 days and the resort has plenty of activities; with me being occupied by soap making, incense and head massage workshops. There are pools for swimming, a table tennis and pool table and even a pickleball court for a sports workout . I throughly enjoyed my massage treatment at the spa too. What make this resort truly special are the GEMs and staff, wonderfully friendly and attentive to your needs, for example recommending activities and anticipating your need for a buggy. If I am back in Nha Trang, this is definitely the place to stay.

On my first visit to Nha Trang, I experienced the local culture and charm at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, enjoying a perfect vacation getaway. Every employee, from the housekeeper Xiaoming, the restaurant staff, to the room service staff, has felt the abundant care and attention from the Six Senses Hotel. During this period of stay, starting from the time of landing on the island, we often saw the hotel's GM in various places. They were constantly meeting the needs of the guests.
