The best family hotel EVER! We visited the place as a family and turned out to spend the holidays as a couple, which was absolutely fantastic! Relaxing scenery, relaxed mood, delicious food, great cocktails, chillout music to fit the surroundings, good-mannered people, George, the manager, was in total charge of everything without even noticing him (and that's a success in terms of professionalism), crystal clear sea/clean beach, variety of activities -indoors & outdoors- for both adults and little ones, well-organised general, scores pretty high in terms of professionalism, good rate between services and cut the story short, we definitely suggest this place for family summer vacation... surely we will be returning customers!

This was our second time. The place is really nice, clean and well maintained. Very polite employees who are trying their best to full feel your wishes. The half board buffet menu is very good and so is the kids buffet. We were very happy with our experience and will certainly go again. Spa is average. Not a value for money place as rates are very high. Furthermore due to the strong winds had not been able to swim in the sea at all.

Located in a great site, with amazing sea view, Thalatta is another overrated so-called boutique hotel. Rooms are pretty spacious but not worth their money: not all of them have sea view, not really sound proof, old school aesthetics on most of them Suite with a pool resembles more to a room with a tub outside. Morning buffet is boring, same ham cheese cakes, with plenty of flies around The main pool is not really clean one, as rude customers do not seem to opt for the wc situated 50 m away. Kids pool is part of the main pool so if you are planning a romantic escape with your loved one, DO NOT choose Thalatta: screaming and splashing, balls flying around with nobody setting rules and sometimes kids doing their kaka in the pool from 10 to 19.00 will spoil every intention to have a nice and relaxing time Beach concerned, it is hard to get in, if you do not know how to swim, avoid. Wavy, stormy, and with rocks as you are trying to get in, nope, it is not a good idea. You can just relax, and hope that someone from the service will come and get you a coffee! Note: no lifeguard for the sea, just one for the pool, ordered by the hotel owners to also give towels and open sun umbrellas!!! Food is fair, but pretty expensive and you are far from Agia Anna Village if you prefer an alternative, especially value-for-money. Overall, there are numerous other beautiful, value for money and quality hotels you can enjoy in Greece.

The suite we stayed in had all the comforts and a balkony with a great view. The whole place is designed in such a way that every room has a view to the sea. It has a great spa and what impressed me was that they had special stuff for the children's activities. So while it is a family hotel, the place was not noisy at all. The food was delightful all the times that we ordered and the service attentive and discresive. The cocktail bar with the captive night view, has the perfect atmosphere if you want to propose!

Great holiday to this luxury hotel in a rural cove on Evia in Greece. Location is slightly out of the way - if you're looking for somewhere with vibrant local nightlife this is not for you! (there is a town a short walk away along the beach with some local Greek cafes and bars) We opted for the private transfers from the airport and just wanted to relax, read our books and eat delicious food! This was the perfect hotel for that! We opted for half board - this included breakfast and a buffet dinner. Can't recommend the food enough and a great, charismatic chef greeted you every evening to explain all the food options for that evening. Drinks at the bar were not cheap but great quality, the cocktail selection was great and the chef would make one up for you on the spot if you told him your favourite flavour/base spirit! Overall a fantastic, luxury hotel with a great pool and beach to keep everyone happy!
