Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

Our stay at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru was nothing short of magical and truly unforgettable. We spent over a week in this paradise in a beautiful ocean front villa with a breathtaking view and an amazing house reef right at our doorstep. Sharks, rays, and even a turtle — every day snorkeling revealed something new, magical, and unforgettable. It was a dream come true. The barefoot island experience was absolutely wonderful and added so much to the natural and relaxed atmosphere. We especially loved that there are no overwater bungalows, which preserves the authentic island feeling. While the villas are slightly older, they are how you imagine a Maldivian bungalow to be. A very special thank you goes to Okta, who handled all of our special requests with so much patience, warmth, and genuine kindness. She was always there for us and made everything feel effortless. We would also like to highlight the wonderful villa service by Naseer, who took such great care of our villa. Everything was always perfectly prepared and he paid close attention to our personal wishes. Our absolute highlight, however, was the incredibly heartfelt and unforgettable service by Uma and the entire team at the Japanese restaurant. Their hospitality touched us deeply and will stay with us forever. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere truly magical — dining there was an experience in itself. We loved ending our evenings at the bar, either with a relaxed game of billiards or listening to the wonderful live music while enjoying a drink. Thanks to the bar team who also consistently delivered great service. The entire stay was simply unforgettable. All the staff members were unbelievably warm, caring, and attentive, and you could truly feel how much effort and love they put into making our stay perfect. Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru will always have a very special place in our hearts.
