Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

We had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with the drum and given necklaces made of leaves, a splendid touch. We were upgraded to an amazing villa, 38, with such a beautiful outside space both by the beachfront and with the pool at the back. The villas are in excellent condition, very well looked after, have an incredible design and spotlessly clean. Thank you for this upgrade! We love the pretty island, the wide sandy beaches, the breathtaking views, and fantastic structure of the sting ray jetty. We also enjoyed visiting Ihuru which is a great perk. I celebrated my birthday and had a brilliant surprise arranged by Fatima and Fairooz; a wonderful bed decoration and personalised sarong, along with a cake. Thank you Fatima and Fairooz for your kindness. We enjoyed seeing many other staff from previous visits, Including Nasif, Abdullah, Aiman, Don at Ihuru and of course Fatima and Waheed who took excellent care of us. Thank you BTV, we will see you again soon.

so good ！The hotel service is excellent. Our butler Fatima was incredibly thoughtful and caring throughout our stay. She has a gentle, warm attitude and pays great attention to every little detail. The snorkeling conditions on the island are fantastic too, with plenty of small fish to see underwater.

Lovely stay thanks to the amazing team. Holly ensured we were made comfortable during the stay and the front desk team were always helpful and smiling. Ahmed and the team in the restaurant were super nice and ensured were looked after well. Food in Saffron was simply stunning and great flavours. Housekeeping Shujah ensured are room was spotless. He is a wonderful employee. The resort is simply stunning and paradise in heaven with nature all around. Thank you to all and special thanks to Mr Waheed.

We’ve stayed at many, many Banyan Tree hotels and resorts and have been lucky enough to have visited the Maldives many times. The BT Vabbinfaru was the latest of our stays at top end resorts in the Maldives with the previous two having been the Park Hyatt and the Shangri La. The ups: BT service is always refined and very good. On this trip we were really impressed with the attendant assigned to our room, Fairooz. He was prompt, thorough, trustworthy, friendly and had the loveliest manners. What a guy! In the dining room we were very taken by Shyryn from Kazakhstan. What an impressive young lady. She was funny and friendly and attentive and interesting and intuitive and kind and just an all over superstar. She’s one of a few resort staff we’ve encountered over the years that we’ll always remember. The downs: The Saffron was the most disappointing we’ve encountered. The food came through at different times and everything was a bit muddled and confusing. We only ate there once in an eight night stay. We’d like to go again but we’ll see.
