Quite simply, a fantastic quite tropical island with all modern amenities. Very welcoming, ALL the staff go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. Although we did see young children this is not an island I feel for them. Don’t expect orchestrated nightly entertainment. This place is ideal of relaxation. Small, intimate, private & quiet is very much at the forefront of everything. Good house reef, if you wish to rent any equipment to either scuba or snorkel? This is available. Extensive menus at both restaurants, mixed in with regular buffet style meals. As a couple we had a fantastic time. The proof of any holiday is the question, will I go back? Answer Most definitely. We had an exceptional 4 days stay at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru. The Staff really went above and beyond in order to give us the most beautiful experience for our first visit in Maldives. We will definitely be coming back.

We came to Banyan Tree to celebrate our daughter’s 9th birthday. Thanks to our butler Allath’s excellent service, we have wonderful memories here. He is very professional, thoughtful, and responsive even during peak periods.

We have visited the Banyan Tree twice previously and loved being back this time with our 16 and 14 year old girls. Despite a few issues in the first 24 hours, we had an excellent stay. The issues we experienced were dealt with by Allatg and Simaad the Manager promptly and to our satisfaction - in fact exceeding our expectations. The island is stunning, the accommodation beautiful and their ethos compelling. But what really made our holiday really special was the care and service of the staff. Whether that be those who serviced our room or the waiting staff at the restaurants and bar. They were without exception superb. Thank you for a memorable family stay. The hotel is now family friendly. For couples or families with older children it is worth noting it can be quite noisy with younger children - we found this on a few days and it probably felt more prevalent as otherwise the island is just so beautifully quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful stay with truly warm hospitality throughout the resort. From the moment we arrived, Miss Fatima was waiting for us, greeted us warmly, explained everything clearly and was very attentive to all our questions and requests,from arrival, till we left the resort.. which made us feel comfortable right away. A big thanks 🩵 Also, I'd like to mention Chef Mr. Rajish who was very kind and accommodating at dinner, happily adjusting dishes to our preferences and checking that everything was perfect, and Miss Fipit, the lady in the dinning area, always welcomed us warmly. The friendly atmosphere everywhere really made the stay memorable.
