My wife and I spent 5 nights here and booked the romantic package. It was simply an amazing experience. Staff: very welcoming and accommodating. We were always greeted and were asked how our experiences went. Their attentiveness is commendable and we enjoyed interacting with them. Especially Nazim made our check-in very comfortable and our conversations the following days were always warm and personable. Food: The food at Madi Hiya is very recommendable. Japanese fusion food, but very fresh and yummy, not overly seasoned but just right. The tempura and the teriyaki chicken were our favourites. The sunset hour there is something special. The breakfast has a big selection of classics and also Asian delicacies. Every second day we enjoyed the buffet dinners (we chose half board) and the meats and seafood were prepared on the BBQ grill. Spa: very great back massages and the balinese massage was some of the most relieving experiences during our stay. The receptionists and therapists definitely knew what they were doing to make us feel comfortable. The outdoor therapy location is very private. Diving: we snorkelled and dived. The reeves around the resort were very much alive and bustling! The dives were exciting, and the staff did their best to make sure to adjust the locations of the dive according to our experiences. E.g. we wanted to see turtles, so we went to look for them, same with Mantas (unfortunately we didn’t meet any mantas!) the staff were nice and always answered our questions. Our dive master Yaafis also looked out for my safety as I am still a novice diver. Villa: our villa has simply felt like home to us. Direct access to the beach, private quarters with pool and jacuzzi, very comfortable bed, always enough drinking water, coffee and tea. Our room attendant Shuja has always made sure we returned to a welcoming villa after a day of many activities. It is notable, however attentive our villa attendant was, at what times we left the villa. After dinner we would find the room very nicely decorated with the mosquito nets prepared and the blinds shut - just ready for us to hop into bed. The sand in front of the villa is always nicely combed and at times our personal belongings like bags or shoes would be nicely tucked to an adequate place in the room. Simply magical! We look forward to return one day to this beautiful place. You have made our first wedding anniversary truly indescribably beautiful! Well done!

My family had a wonderful time here. The service was amazing and the staff were really helpful always with a kind smile. As a staycation just minutes away from male’, we booked the best place. We loved the privacy in the villa and private pool area.

I went to this island for my first night dive. I couldn't have chosen a better island to fully experience this. I arrived at sunset which can be admired right from the point of the coral reef where you start the dive. "SUPERB". The details in life make the difference. If you want the best, dive with Chris, he accompanies you with great passion and respect for nature to discover the secrets of the sea. The island is magical, it breathes with you.

Great place, amazing staff, great location and food. Just 20 minutes by boat (complimentary). Zameer, Zihan, Housman just to mention a few. We spent the first birthday of our Leonardo and they spiked us from day one. Thank you! We will be back soon

Loved this property that you can walk around in 10 minutes. and the absence of over-the-water-bungalows/ Villas are spacious with excellent direct access to beach. The included breakfast is excellent, with many additional items offered at no other charge...eg. the best Eggs Benedict ever!! Japanese restaurant is a gem. A beautiful building inside and out with a pool at the back that few people know about so it like having a private pool. Liked the resort's approach to saving the planet... no plastic bottles and a daily beach clean-up... Staff everywhere..restaurant, house- and grounds-keeping are supernice. Villas are located a bit close, so when you have noisy neighbours (like we did) it may take away a bit of the peace and quiet... Sorry there was no offer for complimentary airport pick-up for us, traveling in April and staying for 8 days as is offered to those arriving in May and staying 3 night for more..
