Reviews for Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru
After a very hectic work schedule we booked a long weekend ( friday to monday ) at Vabbinfaru. It was simply the perfect getaway. Fast well organised boat transfer , fantastic staff across the board , great secluded and private rooms and a jewel of a perfectly formed island . It was just a totally memorable experience and thanks to all at the Banyan Tree. We will certainly stay again.

Perfect stay at a perfect location. The hotel is surrounded by marine life and provides plenty of activities. The staff was kind and helpful. Don't forget to visit the marine lab and join their activities!
My wife and I stayed here in April and were simply blown away by the charm of the resort. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. What I was really impressed with was that the Banyan Tree has a deep commitment to environmental and social governance issues such as reducing its plastic consumption. I was also enthused that the resort is growing its own coral and is trying to preserve the marine ecosystem that it is surrounded by. I would have no hesitation in staying here again and would highly recommend it.
we had an absolutely fantastic and relaxing trip here. it was about 20 minutes from the airport so we got into vacation mode quickly. i had several wonderful prenatal massages, the best i have ever had. The snorkeling at the hotel was some of the most amazing we had ever experienced. The coral is growing back slowly after the bleaching event, but the amount and variety of fish there were amazing. sting rays greeted us at our hotel room every night after their 5pm feeding, so it was wonderful to watch them as the sunset. Wonderful vacation/babymoon and will return as soon as possible!

Difficult to assess from afar...but especially based on other resorts we were able to see in the area, Banyan Tree was the nicest wine very personal villas and beautiful shared space, all with great views. (For example, we saw others where half the island had a view of a factory, or where seemingly hundreds of over water bungalows were packed on top of each other.) house reef was awesome and easily accessible for diving. And other activities easily available to rent - never had a problem with something being out when we wanted to rent it. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, for example remembering our coffee orders in the morning or that we had previously asked for a bread basket at a restaurant that doesn’t serve bread baskets (so our spots were set up with a bread basket before we arrived.) Loved it all!
