One&Only Reethi Rah

My wife and I first came to Reethi Rah nearly eighteen years ago, just the two of us. This time we returned with our children, wondering if the magic would still be there. It absolutely was – and in many ways, it's improved. The rooms are beautifully updated – modern, light, and spacious enough for a family of four. We stayed in a Beach Villa and loved the indoor‑outdoor flow. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The service was genuinely outstanding. Not the stiff, formal kind – warm, intuitive, and personal. The staff remembered my wife's ginger tea preference, our son's love for coconut ice cream, and even left a little nightlight for our daughter who's scared of the dark. That's not training; that's genuine care. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. It felt like they actually enjoyed looking after us. The facilities are top‑notch. The kids' club was fantastic – our children begged to go every morning with marine biology sessions and snorkelling trips. The main pool is stunning, the spa is still one of the best I've ever been to, and the beaches are immaculate. Dining across all restaurants – especially the beach grill and Japanese at Kaage – was consistently excellent. But what really stood out was the overall feeling: luxury without stuffiness, privacy without isolation. The island has evolved over the years, but it hasn't lost its soul. It's quiet, beautiful, and effortlessly well‑run. Eighteen years on, Reethi Rah is genuinely one of the best resorts in the world. Not because it tries too hard – but because it gets the basics right and then some. We left already planning our next trip. Highly recommended.

The speedbord is comfortable, at the resort, the mainpool beach has tiny waves. It is convenient for playing in the sea. We rode padel boat to snoerkling spot at resort,it is a fantastic and unique experience in my life, fish and reefs we could see. The dishes in each restaurant is good taste, the butler and every colleague is kind and helpful. The whole experience at one&only is wonderful. I am looking forward to next trip in maldives next year.

One & Only Reethi Rah is a wonderful experience rather than a resort. We were picked up at the airport by their representatives and within minutes heading out in the luxurious high speed yacht for a 45 minute ride to One & Only, where we were warmly welcomed by their great staff. Traveling around the island is on electric buggies or by bicycle on winding shady paths. Our over water villa was comfortable, well equipped and very well maintained. Too many features to list, but there was really nothing missing. The attentive housekeeping staff kept supplies replenished and the villa tidy. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning in the main dining area, and for dinner there is a great selection of restaurants from which to choose. We also paid several visits to the excellent spa for massages. The spa is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the staff are outstanding. Our host, Hussein, looked after us very well arranging dining, scuba diving, buggies and answering all our questions. Service is excellent everywhere and staff are always welcoming and obliging. We had a great stay here and the only difficult part was leaving.

Everything Is perfect!!! It’s the best hotel in Maldives! We’ve been here many times and will come back again!

This hotel is truly on another level. The service is incredible. There is food for every taste. What I liked the most, to be honest, was the food, because there are a lot of healthy dishes, all kinds of vegetarian options, and many different menus. The staff is also very kind. Many thanks to our host, Tonya. The villa is pleasant as well. Overall, I can only say good things about this resort. We would definitely come back again.
