Trump International Beach Resort

Our stay was pretty good overall. We had a 1-bedroom with kitchen and it was plenty of space for our family of 4. There were plenty of restaurants around, and a great European bakery across the street for coffee and breakfast. We had coffee a couple of times at the hotel as well as the breakfast buffet, but it was nothing special. The overall hotel is pretty nice, although they need to upgrade their lobby and the hallways. The staff was nice and friendly, no issues there. The pool was just okay, one needed a serious refresh and the other "quiet" pool was a nice escape from all of the kids at the other pool. There wasn't really any pool service, but you could get a drink quickly at the pool bar as well as lunch which was pretty good. The location is nice if you're fine being away from South Beach as it was a 30-45 minute trip one-way. But there are good restaurants nearby so finding a good spot for dinner was not a problem - even during spring break. Baires Grill across the street is pretty good for dinner. We also went to Aventura Mall as well as Shoppes at Bal Harbour. Both malls have great shopping and restaurants. My only issue during my stay was the fact that two elevators were out at the same time, so wait times to get to your room were as high as 15 minutes. They resolved the issue, but it was a real pain for a day or two. After they repaired the elevators, it was fine. Not sure I would stay here again unless I knew they made some major upgrades. The hotel was very clean, but looked out-of-date.

The price-to-value ratio is unfavorable. The rooms are spacious, although they show their age and lack technology. The room amenities leave much to be desired. We had to request housekeeping, and even then, on one of the three days we were there, they never came to clean our room. The food is bad, especially room service. The staff is friendly, particularly the valet and bell service are excellent. The location is good; just across the street there are good food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a CVS and a Publix very close by. Good, but not good enough for price-to-value; at that price you're likely to find better alternatives.

The hotel is located in the heart of Sunny Isles. Located on a beautiful beach. Service was great with helpful and attentive staff at the pool and the beach. Pool area is well taken care of and clean even though it's showing signs of aging. Rooms and the building itself need major uplifting. Everything looks old and tired. I've seen motels looking more modern and presentable. Place needs a complete overhaul and renovations of the rooms. Even the lobby - as soon as you walk in, you feel like it wasn't touched since the 1980s.

Had an awesome time. All of the staff and food and especially the bell, concierge and valet people were wonderful. Juan always made sure our car was ready with a smile. I love how they open your doors for you. Be sure to tip them all well. They deserve it and we will be back to stay and contact some more Inter Miami games!!

Highly recommend Trump International Sunny Isles. Friendly Staff. Hotel location is perfect - not too busy with Miami traffic, even during spring break. Additional food and shopping walking distance. Pool and beach are amazing and the views are perfect.
