Disappointing experience and poor customer service
Very disappointing experience for a hotel at this price point. When we arrived, we were given a room that was supposedly clean and ready, but it clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. We had to go back downstairs with all our luggage to get another room. The elevators were constantly busy, with long waits, and the call button on our floor wasn’t even working. To make matters worse, after we returned home we were charged for minibar items we did not consume. When we contacted the hotel, they refused to remove the charge because housekeeping had reported the items as consumed. Considering housekeeping had also reported our first room as clean when it very obviously wasn’t, it’s frustrating that their minibar report is somehow treated as unquestionable. Mistakes happen, but the way the hotel handled them was extremely disappointing. We would not stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was warm and friendly. The beach area and pool area were very clean. We cannot wait to go back. Next time I look forward to enjoying some spa treatments.

Of all resorts Trump Resort is the cream of the crop. I felt like a queen with the treatment. Service was great, the bell hops were great, the employees were great, and the beach was always clean. Drinks were delivered on the beach and our glasses never got empty. This will be the only place I stay when I'm in Florida.
