We stayed on the 20th floor, a gorgeous room with views of the ocean, and Miami. The staff went out of their way to make sure we guests were happy and comfortable. The food is outstanding, and the breakfast buffet is to die for. The pool area and the beach out front both gorgeous, quiet, and relaxing.

Excellent hotel. Our room was in the 24 floor with partial view of the ocean and inland with Collins Avenue where we enjoyed seeing the traffic. Spectacular views especially at night. Many swimming pools with cascading waterfalls. The beach is peaceful.

Hotel is great except there is a 2-3 year massive construction project going on next door. We had a very nice room with a gorgeous ocean view but when we opened the balcony door on the 22nd floor we hear the sound of 5 bullodzers going strong from 7am until 530 pm every day. Hotel offered us another view but it was not as nice and still a bit noisy. Its a shame but wish I new before I booked it.

The plus: large rooms, some with kitchens. Excellent housekeeping. Decent buffet breakfast, not great but good with egg station. A few friendly people- the bellman came quickly to our room for checkout- large heated pool. Minus: terrible customer service at the front desk, not friendly. We had some issues and never heard from hotel manager afterwards. The pool food is average, and only one person taking orders- very understaffed. The bar at the pool stinks of either garbage or rotten fruit. The pool food is served in wooden baskets with a paper lining it- not sure if wood serving baskets are considered sanitary or if the baskets are placed in dishwashers after use. There are not enough pool lounges so get there early. The restaurant on the beach serves the same food at the pool- they certainly weren't very friendly there and seem to be pissed off that we sat down to eat. No security for rooms, anyone can walk in and take elevator up, compared to Aqualina where you need your key for elevator to work plus someone always at elevators. That stupid resort fee every hotel charges now- I don't get it just include it in the price of the room and stop with the resort fee. Although they advertise kid friendly the beach shack has only a few plastic buckets. Also there is construction next door which Is not the hotels fault since it is a separate property but while at the pool you will be hearing jackhammering and construction noise at times.

This hotel is so overpriced. It is not worthy of a 4 or 5 Star rating. The bedding is basic. The pillows were not comfortable, nor were the sheets....The furniture is cheap and basic as well. The food was just average. The carpet was pretty tacky. When I spend $400/nt on a hotel, I want to be in a place that is special. Where the decor lays an impression. The food leaves you on a state of awe. This hotel feels generic and mainstream. It’s extremely basic in my opinion. There’s nothing here that really separates it from other 4 to 5 star properties in this part of Florida. I would go elsewhere if you have at the very least- decent taste.
