10/10 girls trip

I went with five friends and we had an amazing time! Jamie was such a gentleman and provided us with the best service I've ever gotten! And when we were by the pool Josue made sure we were always taken care of! We couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Great place to stay with great people working.

The resort is beautiful. The people working go above and beyond to assist you in all you need. Some specific names are Jamie who is all over the place to assist and Josue at the pool and their whole teams. I’be been many times at different times of the year and always have a great experience!

The employees are the best

We were fortunate enough to get a 3 bdrm suite for 3 brothers & wives. It was an incredible room & great to all be together. Each bdrm had it's own bathroom & balcony. Only one room had a safe. Would be nice to have one in each bdrm. But not a deal breaker. The real stars of this resort are the employees. First and foremost is ALMA at the front desk. Villa is really blessed to have such a wonderful person greeting your guests. Her smile & kindness are superior. Our next favorite person was PETRA our housekeeper who did magic keeping our rooms so nice. ESMERALDA @ morning breakfast memorized all our names & greeted us each morning even when we weren't at her station. SANTANA at the pool also took very good care of us with drinks & food. We have stayed at Estancia many years now & brought friends & relatives each time & it's still my favorite. I love walking the beach each morning. We've also stayed next door at Flamingo & some people prefer it due to more activities, happy hour drinks & not needing to share a balcony with guests you don't know. Gracias to all.

Beautiful property. Clean. Friendly.

We love the Villa properties This was our first time to PV and first time at this resort. Loved that there were always pool chairs without having to get up at 7 and snag them. Always someone to “make” your lounge chair and umbrella-thank you Angel! The drinks were amazing and better priced than Cabo. We ate at the buffet every day and Esme was always happy and sweet. Property was clean. Staff was super friendly. The gym was spacious and enclosed with AC. Easy walk into Bucerias and short Uber ride away from Sayulita and downtown PV. We would stay here again.

Quiet and Relaxing vacation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We had such a lovely vacation. The resort was beautiful, and the food was great. We were treated very well, and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We went for 1 week starting April 19th. We had the all-inclusive plan and stayed in the basic studio room (2 queen beds). I don’t intend for this to be a review so much as a posting with information about our experience and with the resort. • Because it was mid-April the resort was not as busy – there was plenty of room on the beach and at the pool • We had no issues making dinner reservations – there were always plenty of spots and choices • The Estancia only has 2 restaurants, so we did go over to the Palmar almost every night – it is only a 2- or 3-minute walk • Other then breakfast – there are no buffets. They are all a-la-carte and a lot of menu choices. The food was better than I was expecting and quite enjoyed it. • There is no walk-up bar on the Estancia side, so drinks were always served by a waiter – no issues with this. (tip – if drinking beer you might ask them to bring you a few at a time and they will put in a bucket with ice) • All-inclusive covered everything except a few big-ticket items on the menus (like porter house steaks) Anything not included is clearly noted. • We did get a ‘’bill’’ for every meal which we had to sign, but we never got charged for anything we were not expecting. You can tip in cash or add the tip to the bill and pay when you leave. • For all the reviews that stated they were hounded for time-share sales – we were asked once, we said we were not interested, and we were never bothered again. • The beach is beautiful – we spent a lot of time here. The sound of the waves with the light wind was perfect. The beach and pool area have a “toy-box’’ with beach toys, boogies boards, and floaties for everyone to share. • They have very nice people who bring you to your beach chairs and make sure you have towels and an umbrella (if you want). There are beach vendors, but they are more interesting then annoying. Even bought a few things. You can also have lunch served to you at the beach or pool. • There were no activities at Estancia (all activities take place at the Palmar). It is very quiet. We loved this but know others may not. There were only a few things I think could be improved – but nothing at all that hampered our great vacation • The room itself was boring. Very plain and dated. (but all rooms have a great view) I was surprised that the room didn’t match the beauty of the rest of the resort. • The Steakhouse was super slow. The food was good but took over 90 minutes to get our food. In the morning, this is where the breakfast buffet is, and has faster service • After breakfast – there is no where to get coffee at the Estancia – again had to go over to the Palmer. Not a big issue – but some people do enjoy a coffee after lunch or in the afternoon. (they did have ‘’tea’’ at 5pm where coffee was served) We did enjoy the deli on the Palmer side for espresso and lattes. (part of AI)

Villa La Estancia in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico was incredibly beautiful. The suite and facilities were elegant and impeccably maintained. The staff was always professional and helpful; there were no sales pitches, ever. The restaurants on the meal plan were very good, and we did not feel the need to leave the resort for meals. This was certainly the most relaxing and overall best vacation we've taken in years. I would go back again in a heartbeat!
