Quinta Real Oaxaca

Way TOO Expensive thought. I have NEVER paid SO MUCH for a hotel room. More expensive that what I have paid in EUROPE and more Expensive than ANY 5 Star Hotels I have been in the United States. We paid about $500 per night. That was Literally INSANE.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Gorgeous property, amazing location, very friendly staff. The turn down service was wonderful, with little bookmarks, chocolates, and desserts left each evening. The only minor downside was the size of the room, which was very small despite booking an upgraded room. It seemed like less than a meter of space around the bed, which made the room feel very tight. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if we go back to Oaxaca, but will be booking a suite in the future for some additional space.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and could be a wonderful space if there were a bit more attention to detail and consistency here. But for the frankly quite high price, we were disappointed: Most importantly, there were always events on, with the place being very noisy most afternoons and evenings, for events and their preparation. Add to that broken pool chairs, as well as inconsistent service as well as pool and toilet cleaning, and it just doesn't do the price any justice. We still enjoyed our stay in a beautiful hotel, but we wouldn't come back here.

We enjoyed the location the most. It is important to note that this is a wedding venue, so it can be very noisy if there is a wedding on. We had 2 weddings in a row. Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms quite smalll and stuffy. Breakfast was not included in our rate. Price of a coffee was ridiculous. I felt the hotel is overpriced. It needs a bit of a refresh Concierge was helpful

This was the second time staying at the hotel. The staff is amazing & very accommodating! I will definitely continue coming back :)
