This hotel is expensive, but you get what you pay for. The place is stunning. The restaurant amazing, and grounds are beautiful, and they do everything they can to help you. They provided a wheelchair for my husband at no additional cost, they recommended an amazing guide, they helped us every day with kindness, friendliness, and cheer.

First of all, this hotel is even more beautiful than the photos. It is truly breathtaking. Great location very walkable to many sites and amazing restaurants. Miguel at the front desk helped up organize a private excursion to Monte Alban, and our tour guide Ricardo couldn't have been more wonderful. We also had amazing service with Carlos by the beautiful pool. The hotel breakfast was delicious and very high end - it's a fancy experience. My husband was ill one of the days we were there and the hotel was very comfortable for him while he wasn't feeling well. If we ever return to Oaxaca, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is living history combined with attentive service. Its location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. Food and beverages is excellent - breakfast is incredible. Rooms (had 2 double beds) was specious and outside street noise was never an issues. Bed linen was absolutely delicious. People were friendly and so attentive to our needs - arranged guide & driver. The only con was there is no elevator and not for people w/disabilities + there was interior construction (not at all noisy).
