Jamaica Inn

A warm welcome and a tasty cocktail (planters punch) greeted me on my return to Jamaica Inn. A short stay which was worth every minute - enjoyed my private pool, outdoor shower and what felt like my private sea bath with my personal steps into the crystal clear water from my patio where i enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. A tasty lobster salad made for a great light dinner under the stars with live music for company, a relaxing massage at The Ocean Spa with Kenneth, fresh coconut water after watching them climb the trees and pick coconuts, helping save baby turtles which were released... I really didn't want to leave ... But i will be back ...very soon!

Very chic atmosphere,beautiful beach and sofistiquited ambiance

We spent a wonderful week at Jamaica Inn celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary. The resort and beach are beautiful, but he real appeal of Jamaica Inn is the wonderful people who attended to our every need. The Jamaica Inn team is very well trained and they execute their jobs with friendly and efficient precision. This is an "old school" establishment. They offer something that is hard to find in our era of high rise "brass and glass" resorts. Staying there took us back in time to our visits to the Caribbean in the late 70's and early 80's. From booking to checkout they know how to treat their guests. Quite simply, an extraordinary experience!!! WOW!

Had a wonderful time. The staff: Ash, Patrick and Samantha were great company to a single mum who needed a laugh. Stunning spot and lovely rooms, it truly was magical. The owner and her friends in the last couple of days of my visit felt off. There was an element of ego that detracted from the charm of the place. The male owner however was very friendly and welcomed guests with the knowing that we pay to be there and deserve to feel welcomed and comfortable. Even though the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my boys, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families. I loved the formal nature myself, but it’s difficult for children to relax and be themselves with dress codes and cocktail atmosphere. It’s a shame there’s not more options for kids in Jamaica. We had a great time nonetheless and I’ll absolutely be back again, alone or with friends.

We spent a lovely 5 days at Jamaica Inn, the property was elegant and our time there was restful. But perhaps what stands out the most was the exceptional service from the Employees. Carter was an outstanding croquet mentor and he and his coworkers were extremely kind and hospitable and made us feel at home, Carter went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. I will always remember my first croquet win with Carter. (Max)
