Jamaica Inn

Jamaica Inn is a very classy Hotel! Love the relaxing atmosphere but what makes this place fantastic is the staff. They are top notch! Always pleasant and have a smile which goes a long way. The room was clean and well appointed with supplies. The beach was very nice and the service again top of the line. Would recommend a stay to anyone wanting a relaxed, quiet, no fuss atmosphere. The night live music at dinner was also perfect. I could go on but I think anyone reading this gets the point.

My name is Kenneth , I did a massage at the ocean spa at the Jamaica inn hotel , from I step into the spa , I was greeted with the aroma of lemon grass , Marcia and Marvin was at the desk , Marvin welcome me and too me to change into my robe and lock my stuff away , Marcia help me with my paper works , and is was the beginning of great things to come , Danisha. My therapist have one of the best smile and her soft voice . She took me to the treehouse , and she gave me a 80 minutes experience, her massage was great , she rob out all of my knots from me working out at the gym , she was very professional , after that I came from my massage room and was greeted with my water , a beautiful fruit plate , and a glass of sparkling wine, wow , and it didn’t stop there , they have a salt water mineral plunge poor that just soak away all of my stress , this place is a must do , i would recommend this spa to anyone who want relaxation and to get away from all the every day noise , ocean spa and their staffs , is a wow factor. Next time I will be back with my wife , thank to the manager Mrs . Jackson who I spoke to on the phone while making my appointment, she really book the perfect treatment for me . Beautiful clean rooms decorated with antique furniture, amazing beach with staff that is attentive to your every need and treats you like family. The food is great and the views are breathtaking. This is our second time here and we are already planning a third. We timed our trip to take part in the backgammon tournament and it was so fun. My husband enjoyed sailing lessons and we went snorkeling on the property. Thank you to Gerrie, Jullian and Charlene for making our stay special!

We chose the Jamaica Inn over Hawaii for our 50th anniversary and so glad we did. Our stay was one of the most amazing vacations we have ever had. The grounds were gorgeous, food delicious, and accommodations very comfortable and relaxing. From setting up our beach chairs and serving Planter's punch on the beach to serving meals and keeping our room tidy, the staff was friendly and helpful while meeting every need in a timely manner. We were pleased at how easy it was to arrange excursions and how kind and professional the taxi drivers/guides were. We highly recommend the Jamaica Inn to anyone wanting to be treated like royalty while enjoying a relaxing time in paradise where you felt like family!

We recently returned to the Jamaica Inn, which is one of our favorite places for a relaxing vacation. It has an interesting history in terms of celebrities that have stayed there over the years including Winston Churchill, Sean Connery, Ian Fleming, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, Grace Kelly, and the list goes on. It is a self-contained resort with a beautiful “private” beach, swimming pool, crochet field, lovely restaurant, beach bar and restaurant, spa and a variety of different rooms, of which our favorite is the Blue Cottage. The first time we went we flew into Montego Bay, rented a car and drove to Ocho Rios (about a two-hour trip). However, I had forgotten that they drive on the “wrong” side of the road, so this time we had the Inn schedule a driver to meet us at the airport and take us both ways. The driver’s name was Oscar and he was a wealth of information about Jamaica, the Inn, the people, government, his family, et.al. He made the drive much more enjoyable. Plus, we really didn’t need a car as we never left the Inn. There are plenty of interesting things to see in that part of Jamaica, but you can always arrange for a driver to take you by car or by boat, which is much cheaper and less hassle. We would recommend a “half fare” plan for your meals, which provides you a full breakfast and dinner. We opted for breakfast on our porch every morning and enjoyed dinner at the Terrace or Teddy’s. The best part of the Jamaica Inn is the helpful and friendly staff. They make you feel so welcome. Once you try the Jamaica Inn you will want to “go home” again and again.
