My family recently returned from our annual summer vacation and were so pleased with this Resort! We stayed at three hotels over the span of 10 days in June/July 2025, and this was by far our favorite. GSR (Grand Sierra Resort) in Reno and Marriott Timber Lodge in South Tahoe were the other resorts we stayed at, which were both nice, but this hotel was better in every way. When you first walk into the lobby the views of the mountains beyond are just breathtaking. Check-in was easy, Tori at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, and our room was ready a couple hours before check-in at 4pm. When we got to our room we were very pleased, the views are gorgeous! And I really liked the decor, did not find it outdated at all, it had a real nice "Tahoe" feel, nice furnishings, carpet, comfy bed, everything was great! I sure hope they don't remodel to a modern look like our old favorite Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly which took away any Tahoe charm and ruined it for me. My kids loved all the pools and especially the waterslide! The day we checked out we actually stayed a few hours after the 11am check-out time and hung out at the pool, which the Resort is fine with, such a great perk! We all really enjoyed the cafe located in the shopping area between the lobby and hotel, as well as the Cafe food served in the pool area. The location is great, not far from Tahoe City. We biked from the hotel along the most beautiful paved trail into Tahoe City where we enjoyed a few days exploring. There's also a hiking trail from the hotel to "The Village" where there's many shops and restaurants. All in all, this is one of our new Favorite places to stay. The location, views, price, and staff, we're already looking forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy the changing colors. If I had to complain about one thing, and it's not the Resort's fault, but parents, please don't walk down the hallways yapping loud with your noisy kids waking guests up, much appreciated!

Everything is above expectation except shuttle service to the independency day fireworks, I understand the shuttle service may not managed by hotel directly, but that's the main reason I booked here on fireworks day, hopefully you can help to reach stakeholders to make schedule more sense, like fireworks end up at 10pm, the shuttle should schedule to pick up at 10:30 instead of 10 which makes the most of customers missed it and have to wait for an hour to fight so many people to get on board on 11pm's one.

I have never stayed in this resort but have stayed directly in Tahoe Palisades area and all around Lake Tahoe at various other locations. This part of Tahoe is gorgeous but this resort is overpriced for quality of rooms and golf staff is very rude. I hail from Las Vegas so I get resort fees - they are a must with pools, golf, bikes etc. But the rooms were grossly overpriced in need of upgrades. The food on site is decent, free coffee is not bad, and we had no issues with restaurant staff (really nice people!). The parking fees are outrageous for guest friends. My friends came to eat lunch with us and were charged $ 65.00 for SELF parking for 2 hours. Absolutely rip off and unacceptable. Do not bring people here — go meet them elsewhere. The pool area was fine and this is a family friendly place so lots of kids but still quiet so that was nice. It’s very clean and well kept property outside and lobby and stores are cute - if you forget something they probably have it here. Golfing - I do not golf but am versed in the rules. I live in a golf course gated community in Las Vegas. I’m also an avid trail runner so I asked how to get to Palisades to run Western States trail and was told a couple ways to get there. We left really early and there were no golfers at the time we left and we ran on golf cart concrete path to hop over - 1.1 miles to be exact. On our way back a couple hours later - a woman with black hair who had A DOG (not allowed on golf courses) come up and scolded us like children without asking any questions. She went off about Everline that we were in “an active private golf course and are not allowed here.” The rude assumption and how we were treated was appalling and over the top. I had done a check before we ran over and no one was actively golfing. They were sitting in the golf carts or putting. The frank over reaction was uncalled for and inappropriate. And she was violating rules as pets are also never allowed on a golf course. She had a dog - the hypocrisy. I will probably not come back here. So many other places to stay without rude staff. Was a disappoint stay. I do not recommend unless you don’t play golf and don’t care about over paying for lack luster rooms.

We had such high expectations for this property, but unfortunately, our experience could not have been more disappointing. From the lack of pre-arrival communication to the outright disregard for our Globalist status, the entire stay felt like a complete letdown. No Pre-Arrival Outreach – For a Category 8 property, we expected at least some effort to confirm our needs before arrival. Nothing. Rude Front Desk – Not only did the staff fail to acknowledge our Globalist status, but they were also shockingly rude when we politely asked if the parking charge could be comped (a simple courtesy at many other Hyatt properties). Instead of accommodating, we were essentially dismissed. At checkout, we expressed our dissatisfaction, but the agent just ignored us—no apology, no acknowledgment—just coldly processed us out. Billing Issues – As a Globalist, we were entitled to two complimentary waters per day. Yet, at checkout, we were charged for them and had to argue to get the charges removed. Unacceptable. The room was in desperate need of upgrades—worn-out furnishings, outdated decor, and overall lack of maintenance. Hygiene Issues – Finding hair in the bathtub might seem minor, but at this price point and tier, basic cleanliness should be a given. Overall: A deeply frustrating stay from start to finish. For a hotel of this caliber, the lack of attention to detail, poor service, and overall neglect of elite guest privileges was shocking. We’ve stayed at far more modest Hyatt properties with infinitely better service. Will not be returning.

Ask if there is a convention on your dates ahead of time. They seem to hold lots of conferences and it will definitely impact your stay. Views are incredible. Prepare for thunderstorms impacting your afternoons in summer. If there is lightening they do have to close pool for safety. There are 3 pools and 3 hot tubs which is nice to spread out people especially in the hot tubs. The slide looked out of order but staff turned it on when asked.
