Beautiful location for a wedding. Great place to gather with friends and family. Shuttle was able to get us all to and from the village center. Beds were very comfortable. Showers were great after being cold outside.

I booked a vacation for me and my family, it was a short vacation(5 days) that we planned to be adventurous, fun and new for the family. I'll start by saying that the staff was amazing, they were always willing to help where they could. After booking the trip online and driving to the resort we noticed that the staff seemed to be limited around the time we came in. Then after checking in we walked to our room and started getting settle for the night and noticed that the beds were super comfy but the overall condition of the room was worn down a bit, there was no microwave and plugs in the room wouldn't work to charge phones. . Woke up the next morning and went to eat breakfast at one of the restaurants on site the meals were way over priced and limited so we decided to find somewhere else to eat in Tahoe city(Rosie's). After eating we went back to the resort to ski with the family and was told the mountain was closed due to lack of snow, I understand the resort couldn't do anything about this issue so we decided to buy a snow sled for my daughter and just play on snow mounds around the resort. After playing in the snow and exploring a bit we went upstairs and showered and got ready to go eat at Six Peaks, the restaurant at the resort only to be told that due to occupancy that particular place was closed. We took the news and decided to go elsewhere into town and bring food back even though we dressed up for a night out. Next morning we checked on the lift again, only to be told it was closed still... we dressed up for a hike and decided to go to eagle falls to hike around trails which was a blast! We returned at almost noon and wanted to stop by Sandy's pub inside the resort and was told it was suppose to open at 11am but with the occupancy then it may not be open unfortunately. That's when I started getting aggravated! It honestly seemed like every time we went to do something as a family everything was closed expect for the little outlets at the resort. I was more interested in enjoying my vacation and the outdoors not buying clothes and nick nacks everyday because everything was closed! When I booked the room it showed that it was 95% booked but when I got to the resort there was maybe five couples there. The most fun we had is when the power went out multiple times during the night, Fire alarms being tested during my stay, Elevators being out at one point, No onsite activities besides pool and ice ring I've never been the type of person to complain or leave a bad review but I feel that this is necessary considering the amount of money that's spent to stay at a resort that's suppose to have everything in one like I paid for ( Rooms, Pools, Restaurant, Lift and so on) It clearly says online-A year-round mecca of Lake Tahoe activities, the resort boasts a championship golf course, cross-country ski center, fly fishing center, ice-skating rink, heated swimming pools, water slide, and scenic hiking and biking trails. Whether you're seeking an exciting family vacation or looking for a world-class corporate conference destination, Resort at Squaw Creek provides everything you need to create cherished memories

Another amazing weekend getaway for annual Christmas party. I always look forward to this trip. The staff were all incredible. From the time we arrived, we were promptly greeted with professionalism and kindness. Next time I will consider making my stay longer.
