We stayed at the Everline for a family wedding and the experience was overall good, but let down by some of the reception team. The accommodation was very nice, though the bathroom on our room was quite small. The wedding was fabulous and the food was superb. The service during the wedding from bar and restaurant staff was excellent. The food for the main reception was exceptional, great quality, and served quickly and efficiently so noone was waiting. Wine glasses were replenished quickly and overall the dining experience was fantastic. The main thing that let it down a little was that some of the reception staff were less than helpful. On check in, some of us experienced friendly and pleasant service, but some of us were treated with a minimum of courtesy and helpfulness. On checkout, we asked for a 2 hour extension on the checkout time for one room as we were not flying out from Reno until late afternoon. Despite the fact that within our family group we had 6 rooms and the wedding party had taken at least 15 rooms, the request was met with a fairly surly "no, it's not policy unless you pay $60". Another member of the team stepped in and said we could extend by one hour, which we did. It felt unecessarily unhelpful- it was a Monday, out of season and the hotel was very quiet and it marred what was otherwise a pleasant stay for a lovely occasion. The other thing that felt a bit penny piching for a luxury hotel was charging for water bottles- somehting you had to look hard to see as the price was very subtly marked. We'd just come from the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village where they were given free as well as numerous other little free touches, so maybe the contrast made it a bit more obvious, but it felt mean.

I needed help with my attire and Kirsten jumped into action. What a life saver she was. You are awesome. You saved my day. I appreciate you.

Everline Resort and Spa exceeded all expectations. The property is stunning, both inside and out, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and eager to assist.

I was unhappy with my stay here. The rooms were too hot and needed maintenance done on the A/C and then the A/C shook the rooms at night and were very loud. The lack of cleanliness and attention to clean the rooms was incredibly disappointing. Even when I asked for housekeeping to come to the room, all they did was make the bed and change the towels. Zero cleaning to the rest of the room. Room service was also a huge disappointment. No person to take orders on the other end of a phone, yet guests are expected to order online? When I did order online it took hours to get to us and then somehow the order was lost from the online ordering. Finally a person let me make an order over the phone... Very disappointed in this resort. I was here for a wedding taking place on the grounds and unfortunately cannot recommend anyone stay here.

Beautiful location in scenic Lake Tahoe. Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food is very good and pool looks like fun for families. The rooms are definitely tired and the property is desperately in need of renovations. The housekeeping service only came once in a three night stay? Also they charge $35 for self parking for a lot that’s a five minute walk away. I chose valet at $60 only to wait 10 minutes each time for the staff to walk five minutes to get car? It seems like the property owners not Marriott are cutting corners to maximize revenue.
