I am a Marriott Bonvoy ambassador Elite member and stayed two nights at the hotel. On check in there was no recognition of my status. Upon departing I left luggage at the hotel and requested an email address where I could send FedEx to collect. The emails that were given were of Chris Mahan and Mohamed. For over a week emails to these and the standard hotel email were ignored from me and my ambassador rep, I find this interesting considering Chris has time to reply to reviews on this site. Calls to the hotel only went as far as reservations, I was told that the best way to contact them is to make a fake booking through the Marriott app and use the chat feature. As I stay 120 nights per year at Marriott hotels I’ve never experienced such lazy inept attitudes to providing a basic standard of serve. Chris - Do better

Stole nearly $300 from and falsely accused me of smoking, with zero proof of the claim.

I was a guest at the Bohemian from June 11th- 15th, 2025. Upon checking out, I was accused of smoking in my room, a practice I don’t even partake in, and was not provided any proof of the claim. This accusation and wrongful charge is either a cash grab or a charge given at random. It literally takes a mere second to have entered my room to see that I clearly was not smoking any substance of any kind in there. This charge of $266.25 is a farce and is basically stolen money. The manager is also ignoring my emails on the subject. SHIESTY OPERATION!!

Great!!!

This place is so cool. I went on Mothers Day to celebrate my Mom and we had a great time. There were dancers walking around the tables and greeting everyone. Super classy and elegant atmosphere with these dancers around. Definitely I will come back!

Excellent Romantic Getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My partner & I absolutely loved this hotel and can't wait to come back for another romantic staycation. From arrival to departure, all facets of the visit were seamless, and the staff was warm & attentive. We received an upgrade to a spacious corner suite without asking along with a welcome card & some complimentary bubbles in the room. Also, we went to see The Lion King show and the location of the property could not have been more convenient! Great job and see you next time.

A Boutique Disaster - Avoid the Grand Bohemian Orlando

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

If you’re considering the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando for a luxurious boutique experience with a pool and bar, think again. My recent stay was an absolute letdown, marked by poor communication, abysmal management, and a complete disregard for guest satisfaction. We checked in on Friday for a two-night stay, expecting a relaxing weekend. Friday afternoon and dinner were pleasant, and the room was adequate, though nothing extraordinary for the price. But the experience took a nosedive on Saturday morning at 10:15 AM when we received a text informing us that the entire pool and pool bar—key amenities we’d chosen this hotel for—would be closed until 6 PM for a private party. No prior notice was given during booking, at check-in, or even the day before. It’s clear the hotel withheld this information to prevent cancellations, prioritizing their bottom line over guest experience. When we inquired at the front desk, they flippantly suggested we trek a couple of blocks to use the pool at the Aloft, which turned out to be a small, uninviting disappointment—hardly a comparable alternative. Frustrated, I requested to speak with the manager. What followed was a two-hour ordeal of waiting and repeatedly approaching the front desk, only to be met with excuses. When the manager finally responded, he refused to meet me face-to-face, hiding behind a wall and offering no meaningful resolution. This cowardice and lack of accountability were infuriating. To make matters worse, the private birthday party responsible for the pool closure was obnoxiously loud, with noise blaring outside our window all afternoon. The disruption ruined our Saturday, and by the time we could consider moving to another hotel, the day was wasted. The Grand Bohemian’s management showed zero empathy or initiative to rectify the situation, leaving us feeling trapped and undervalued. This isn’t a boutique hotel; it’s a poorly managed operation that prioritizes private events over paying guests. Save your money and book elsewhere—anywhere else—for a true luxury experience without the deceit and incompetence we endured.
