We came and ate at the restaurant. The food was subpar. We went to enjoy the pool and hot tub and wanted to get some work done the pool and they kicked us out saying it was a private event. They mentioned that the front desk should’ve told us something when we in knowing we couldn’t use the facilities, which was pretty crazy when you’re paying $600 a night and nobody communicates and you can’t use the facilities of the hotel. I asked about a credit several times and nobody got back to me. For the money they want to stay here. It is greatly overpriced.

Very central location and within walking distance to the Kia Center and Dr. Phillips Center. Lots of food options nearby and within the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly.

Our room was located next to a room with a loud barking dog. We called down to have it addressed and they could not get the dog to stop barking because no one was in the room. We requested to be moved and were told they had no rooms to move us to. Since we only lived an hour and a half away, we decided to get a refund and drive home. The desk attendant could not figure out how to process the refund since the card charged was the one attached to my Mariott Bonvoy account and we did not have the card with us and presented a different card for incidentals. We were asked to contact the Director of the Front Office and they would process it for us. We contacted Mariott and entered a case as well. To date, we are getting no response on the refund from the hotel or Mariott. As a Gold Elite member that is further disappointing.

Room service is terrible. I waited for over an hour for food. I called the front desk at least 5 times and they never answered. They tried to force me into an early checkout despite my bonvoy status benefits.
