Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando

The property is absolutely stunning. The main lobby bar had excellent drink and quality service. I checked in around 1pm because my marriott bonvoy app said our room was ready at 10 am. Upon checking in I was advised there would be a $50 early check in fee-- when the room was already ready?! Later, I received a texted thanking us for checking in from Manager Mohammed. I expressed back via text the dissatisfaction of learning of a early check in fee when the room was already ready and received a response back saying it would be waived. I checked out the following morning following up with this waiver of fee- and the front desk clerk has no record of it. She then spoke to Manager Mohammed - who reviewed my text also having no idea about it (clearly an AI generated text) and couldnt be bother with it stating to the front desk clerk " I guess remove it" No apology , nothing from either employee. How does staff- including a manager whom a text was supposedly sent from not now about this service they have? If I didnt inquire about it - i would have been charged! Prior to checking out we completed a valet service via the app - advising we were checking and requesting out car be retrieved. 30 minutes later out car was brought out after asking multiple times and was told each time "someone is getting it" Only to finally ask again and THEN the same individual who told us someone was getting it actually pulled our keys. and we paid $42 for this service. While I love this property and I know they are re branding soon- I will NOT be back. This is not the Marriott way.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown. Easy access to where you want to go and nice places within walking distance. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very comfortable and smelled really nice upon walking in. Exceeded my expectations for my husband’s birthday.

We live nearby, but wanted something a little special to celebrate a big milestone anniversary. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and helped make it an even more special weekend. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant there, and the food was amazing. We had drinks in the lounge, and we spent some time at the pool. While it is a small pool with not a lot of loungers, there was plenty of room on couches and day beds. The bartender at the pool bar was hopping as he was the only one there when we were. But he was so good and so quick, we never had to wait. I highly recommend this hotel and I think we found our new special staycation spot!

Everything was absolutely beautiful and one of the greatest stays I have had the pleasure to be a part of.
