Room was spacious and the facilities were beautiful. Had breakfast in the restaurant and the buffet was plentiful and unique but quite pricey. Best of all was the Ritz service. We checked in very very late and were met by staff alert and ready to help us get settled. Attentive and helpful, cheerful and warm. Another great experience at a Ritz property!

Recently there for a conference, enjoyed my stay quite a bit. The staff is extremely attentive, as anyone expects from such a property. The hotel feels very remote and it's a bit hard to figure out how to find. Two of my ubers were going around and around trying to find the entrance. it's adjacent to the Marriott and between the two there are several restaurant options. The grounds and the gym are very well kept. The negative was that the room didn't feel as luxurious as other properties--mattress pad and the bed skirt were smaller than the actual bed, bath fixtures needed updating. My room was in an internal corner and was facing other rooms. There were no curtains to provide privacy other than the ones that didn't let the light through. Maybe they're encouraging people to get our of their rooms in the middle of the day???

I give it3 stars as I know that they are worthy of a better expierence. I will start by saying we are tampa locals who often take quick get away trips each month to escape our life stresses. This weekend adventure landed is at the ritz, where we have frequent at other locations but never to the grande lakes. We are gold members, and i states this because we utilize a lot of perks that come with this status. However this experience fell very short! We utilize the app in order set our check in time etc so we have confirmed a check in Time of 2pm. Upon arrival, after 2pm we check in to find out that our room isn’t ready. But even better. The room we booked was a lake view - and not only wasn’t that available at that time we now are only able to check with the available room being a lesser valued room, a garden room. Not a big deal however would have been Nice to know ahead of time. We would have grabbed lunch and waited for the room if we knew in advance, or better yet being we’re gold members we get upgraded rooms never down graded? Going through the check I’m routine i attempted to confirm the late check out that were guaranteed. And dissapointwd when we come to find out they may not be able to accommodate this either! We drove from tampa to spend the most amount of time on our mini vacation, and now it’s being cut short? I was less then thrilled! The garden room was very nice on the 5th floor, spacious, and view was not a garden yet the parking lot. We proceeded out to our evening plans. We try to request our car from valet, from the mobile app, since they don’t utilize the text code service. Waited 20 min as directed and . Go down stairs to find they never got our car and we would now be waiting even additional time. What’s the point of having the app and utilizing it if it doesn’t work at any point! Arriving back to the hotel that evening, we pull under the carport to find no parking attendant! So now at midnight we’re having to self park on the other end of the hotel Complex and walk. More annoying is at checkout when we have our luggage we now have a hike to the car with all the belongings. Sunday morning we wake up refreshed the beds were amazing, we go downstairs to the highball breakfast buffet, this is where we were impressed ! The food was delightful and the service staff Rita and Sanibel were exceptional and accommodating. We left stuffed with a smile and proceeded to the pool. Pool staff attentive and serving. We floated around the pool and soaked up the sunshine to make a great Sunday funday. Our pool server Lois was a hustler ! He seemed as though he was working the whole pool. He was slightly forgetful but honest. He was playful, and only complaint was it took awhile to get our request once we ordered ie when trying to get our check to leave it took him almost 30 min to circle back around to us. After being sunkissed for a few poolside hours it was time to Make the trek to the self parking lot! Although our expirance had its short comings it was enjoyable’ just feel they couldn’t handle the amount of people that they had at that time, and that isn’t okay when you’re a convention hotel! I hope we get the opportunity to try this again and leave with a better taste !

i almost live in Marriott's and have reviewed many.-- Once again this property didn't disappoint us. The management team at this hotel is extraordinary and this factor alone really makes a difference as this is why I keep returning to Marriott and Ritz for both my holiday and business travel. Thanks again to the exceptional customer service of Georgia Sheffield and staff -- my wife and daughter had a great stay and looking to come back shortly.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in the spring. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Clean hotel. Staff was so friendly and knew our names. Free candy in the lobby. The grounds and resort area are gorgeous and huge! Lots to do. My wife even bought sunscreen from the gift shop only to find out there is free sunscreen offered at the pool. They let her return it for a full refund - even after opening. What a great experience!
