Ok, was using Hyatt Passport points. This location was great for Disney parks and Universal with good shuttle service. Very good and friendly service by all staff, actually exceptional in-room dining, good quality food. Room was not too great, was a handicap room with no vanity space and slick bathroom floors. Poor to average room decor for a Regency location. Grand-kids actually wanted to leave the park the first day and go back to the hotel, great pool areas!

The pool and wait service was great. The beds are comfortable but the duvet is as thin as a sheet, I suppose they are supposed to be light weight but just appear to be old and in need of replacing. The room was clean and we loved the shower. Our air conditioner went out twice, They responded quickly to fix it but had to vacuum out condensation for it and once was in the middle of the night. We were charged twice for our stay, they voided one charge but it still held $1,300 on our credit card for three days.

Nice hotel with ok service. We checked in and got a king instead of 2 fulls so they offered to move us after 1 night. I kept calling the next day but it wasn’t ready They forgot to tell us our room ready by 8 pm. Front desk just said sorry. Instead of offering a free drink or something? Kids were bored with resort activities, though grounds are lovely. Food is not very good. We ate a pool, yuck. Go elsewhere to eat. Biggest disappointment was 3 pools pictured only 1 pool is heated. Where kids water slide is. So everyone hangs there. Crowded They need another restaurant and a chef that cares

This very possibly might be the best hotel and resort we’ve ever had the privilege to stay at. Franco at the front desk was wonderful and took care of all of our needs. He recommended great places to walk and eat and was a great guy to talk to. The view from our 15th floor room gave us nightly shows of fireworks and sunsets. The pools were just amazing. The lake activities were also great. We loved eating at the Lakehouse and the staff were super helpful and accommodating even though we have a great deal of allergies. The shuttle drivers to and from Walt Disney World were highlights. Our 2 year old is still talking about this place and says she’s done living at home and misses her hotel. Thanks for a fantastic time. We hope to return soon and often!

Brought two of my sons here for a two day leisure trip and relaxation after visiting my parents. Overall: this is a HUGE cattle-call of a hotel. It feels like a Hyatt-place on steroids. The food is not top notch, the rooms are small and dated. The outdoor pools feel like Disney world due to their crowds and impersonal nature. It’s “fine” but just not great. We arrived at 1:45 in the afternoon and had done a pre-check with our Hyatt reward account on line. The line to check in when we got there was long but swift. George checked us in and while helping to secure a lower floor, we were told that our keys would accommodate the club privileges we’d paid for— and like clockwork, they didn’t. There is no such thing as a club room at this hotel or a level, it is simply a double door on the twelfth floor. Our room was small and had stains on the floor, hair on the sink and in the tub and dust everywhere, and was remarkably small. Jeremiah took us up and unloaded our luggage and was attentive and pleasant. Started with a stop at the club for a snack but besides our key not working there really wasn’t much to speak of even though it was snack time. We headed to the pool: there is a 30$ resort fee per day and to be clear: you are on your own. Beach chairs are unavailable and no one is picking up towels or dirty chairs. We finally got one and ordered lunch which was served in plastic like a fast food Starbucks. Drinks never came. Caesar salad was awful. Pool was filthy and while the slide is nice, I wouldn’t let my boys go in the hot tubs because there was so much floating debris. I finally went to the bar and BART was great and on the spot to grab a drink. For the record -and this is actually important. The man who was the attendant at the bottom of the water slide, heavy and young, was FALLING ASLEEP. He checked his schedule which was in his pocket and then actually dozed off. After dressing we went to the club for a cocktail. The appetizers displayed were fine but only beer and wine are offered. Genesis was very helpful and made sure we were checked in on as well as Jorge on Sunday. The club is just not worth it. It’s crowded, limited and for example: there were three small trays out for “cordials and desserts.” It was really good to grab a water bottle but not worth the major difference in rates. Plus it’s not a plus as far as your room accommodation goes. We dined at the boat house. Their service was fine, and randy our waiter was professional and upbeat. The place was MOBBED but we had called in advance. We retired to our room: you could see the fireworks yes but it’s beyond far away at Disney. We departed the next day and both Tim and Javier deserve mention. They were so great and stood out. Sorry folks, would never return. Last mention: if you have any fear of heights this hotel is NOT for you.
