We stayed here for a couple of nights when we first got to Florida for our annual road trip. The Hyatt is impressive when you drive up, the staff manning the drive booths are really pleasant and the bell boys and valet staff are all super, quick to help and really efficient. Never had to wait for our car. The hotel is large and the lobby is lovely and cool. We didn’t have to time to use any of the facilities on our stay like the pool or the restaurants. The hotel is very close to Disney Springs and some nice restaurants we like in Lake Buena Vista. We did go down to the bar on our first night which was a little slow in service despite it not being busy. We were also supposed to receive complimentary champagne which never materialised. Also our room safe had not been left unlocked so we could use it and no one ever came to sort it out even though we did report it. Our bins were not emptied during service of the room and there were also stains on the carpet that looked like bleach stains, which can happen when a dog has peed. Didn’t make me want to walk around on the carpet bare foot. We hadn’t actually realised it was a pet friendly hotel and there were lots of dogs, which I don’t necessarily mind if they were to keep the rooms separate. Someone left a dog in a room above us which barked for hours. We mentioned these things on checkout and they were kind enough to knock off the valet charges. However I think prevention is better than cure, and would rather have not had cause to complain. Overall a good hotel, but needs a couple of improvements.

Our family love to trip together and we normal going during someone Birthday just to make it a little more special. We decided this time to stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. It was the best decision with a group of eight people, including two children we need to have all of the comfort of home and amenties to keep everyone busy/happy! From the time we pulled up everyone was professional and welcoming to us. Laura at the front desk provide suggestions on how we should map out our trip, and places to visit. Followed my a personal letter and brochures sent to our room. She actively listened and provided the help that I needed to make our visit special. The hotel was clean, the food was great, and everything was in reach I'm request. This hotel provided accessible to the parks, restaurant, and stores. We realized that we could have brought our dog and viewing the convenient other guest had with having their fur babies there. The pool was 24 hours and it allowed us to rest at night after a long day at the parks. Even the valet service was outstanding thank you Javier for being super kind to each of us. Before we could take off my family was already planning our next visit. Thank you Hyatt Team for making our visit amazing!!!' My only suggestion is the bar at the pool should remain open until 8:00 p.m.

This was our 4th visit to the hotel having travelled from the UK, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is so friendly with happy staff that go above and beyond to make your holiday the best. We stayed in a VIP SUITE this time as our boys are getting older. Wow this was a fabulous room and a big thanks to Daniel Reyes for being so helpful before we travelled. Every area of the hotel is amazing and anyone staying will not be disappointed. When we arrived we were greeted by Anthony from the valet, he's amazing and remember us from previous visits, he's so helpful and every time we were in the area he always asked us about our day and what we had been doing, he's fabulous.Francis helped us on checking in, and helped us throughout the holiday. Eduardo on bell service helped us, he too remembered us and was so helpful, giving us lots of information on the hotel. Same again he would always ask us how our day had been and ensuring we were having a great time. We used the regency club which is fantastic and I would book this every time we visit again, Karla,Donna,Silvanna and Genesis were great, so helpful and welcoming everyday. While we visited our friends (who we met in the hotel the previous year) who live in New York surprised us by returning too. Our family have been in contact with them all year and we have become very good friends from meeting in the hotel. While in the regency club we met Carl Bronislawski who loved the story of us being friends and how we met, he chatted with us for a long time and came back another day to see us and check all was good. What a great guy! The pool area is immaculate and the staff are so helpful, Samantha was great, taking time to come see us and check all was good, There's also Janielle, what can I say about her except she's amazing! She too remembered us when last year, she was serving drinks (we called her Jersey) she's now an assistant manager in the pool area, which is fabulous and so deserved! As I've said the room was amazing and very clean. Souvanny looked after us in our room, she was fabulous with us all but especially the kids. I know I've mentioned lots of people but I feel I have to as they made our holiday so enjoyable. Everyone who works there is so helpful and the hotel is amazing, I can not say one big that wasn't right which is why I feel I need to mention the staff. It's t staff that make the hotel amazing (although it is a fabulous hotel) I'm sure we will be returning again next year. We can't wait!

Had to stay here for Irma as our power was out for a week. This hotel treated us like family, not guests. Words cannot express how far a smile goes and this staff is by far one of the best I have seen on my travels. Having stayed here dozens of times, I can say it is my favorite hotel in all of Orlando. Will definitely return. Lastly, however is running the desk in the spa deserves a raise. Incredibly thoughtful and sweet.

Not the best first night but love the property. The room given smelled like mildew from the hurricane. This was at 11pm. They should have checked it out prior to giving someone this room and then it took 20 minutes to get someone on the phone after the bellhop called an internal number for us when he arrived with our luggage. Our son woke up, who is a terrible sleeper, and didn't go back down until 2am. Made for a tires day at the parks. Overall the food and service was great at both the poolside bar and the restaurant on site (lakeshore). We'll be back but may check it some other hotels next time for a mini weekend staycation.
