From the moment you enter the drive to the hotel, you know that this property is special. It is a sprawling property - tennis courts, golf, swimming, several restaurants, a fitness room, a running trail, an 18 floor hotel, bicycle and a private lake - that feels intimate and luxurious. All the public spaces are immaculate and staffed with knowledgeable, friendly Hyatt staff trained to make your stay special. The resort accommodates families, couples, individuals, conference attendees seamlessly so that you never feel crowded or overlooked. A daily resort activity fee, as well as any dining charges are automatically charged to your account, so that you not pulling out your wallet every ten minutes. The lake is staffed with canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, a sunfish, aqua cycles, and hydro bikes. There is even a climbing wall and ping pong table for kids. The huge pool with its waterfalls and swim through cave lends a true resort feeling while a smaller warm pool which attracts younger children is a perfect balance. The food at both Hemingways and the Lakehouse is delicious and well worth the price. Hand rolled sushi was a favorite for this guest. Lunch by the pool is a cost-conscious option and features grass-fed beef burgers, sashimi tuna tacos, a chicken sandwich and childrens' meals as well. Our room was a double queen with garden views. It wasn't crammed with furniture. The decor was clean, simple and updated. The room wasn't large, but we were hardly in it expect to sleep. There was so much to do that we never left the resort. The Hyatt Grand Cypress is a notch above and we will definitely be back.

Had a terrific stay vaca with the family. Enjoyed the hospitality and the complimentary dessert tray after our room services dinner. We didn’t see that coming, but we enjoyed the added personal touch. We will definitely be back!

Family just enjoyed a wonderful weekend; sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, lounging by the pool, eating delicious food and catching Jimmy Buffett & the Eagles! Splurged on the King Executive suite and let the kid have the extra room with the humongous TV! Totally worth the upgrade!

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for a week at the beginning of April 2018. We stayed at in a VIP suite with 2 bedrooms. We stayed as part of a Disney trip and the resort is very handy for all the parks. We used the free shuttle to MK as well as using Lyft a few times (the average cost for a taxi to the parks was $17 for a 7 seater). The rooms and communal areas including the pools are extremely clean and the cleaning staff go to a lot of trouble. The food The Lake House and On The Rocks is excellent especially the buffet breakfast (I would recommend reservations if you know when you want to go to The Lake House). All the people who work throughout the hotel provide an amazing service and can't do enough for you. My 8 year old daughter loved the rock climbing walls and the lady who worked there was so kind to her each day. The grounds are beautiful and the beach area is relaxing, especially the hammocks! The heated pool is warm and the hot tubs are hot! The larger pool is cool but fine in the Orlando heat. We used the bikes and boats and had lots of fun, we could have easily stayed the week here without leaving the resort but we had a good mixture of visiting the parks and enjoying the resort. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.
