From arrival (requiring passing through a security gate, which was good) and greeting by the valet, to check-out, I was impressed with each encounter with staff. The property is beautiful, with many areas to walk through, all with lush foliage, with beautiful sculptures to be seen. Every area was immaculate. Our room, a junior suite, was much larger than expected and experienced in other properties. The Regency Club upgrade was well worth the extra fee. Food offerings were tasty, nicely presented, and complimentary beer and wine in the evening. The desserts at the end of the evening were sinful. The staff in the Regency Club worked exceedingly well as team members, and the lounge was always organized and very clean.Dinner, from the food to the staff, at Hemingway's was awesome, and you should not miss the opportunity to dine there. Extensive wine selection, seasoned waitstaff. I would return to this property without hesitation when next in the area. The Bakehouse is a beautiful, light and airy venue, go for lunch, you will not be diappointed in the food presentations and service.

We have been staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for 31 years. The property and it's grounds are absolutely spectacular! Beautiful flowers bronze statues in the pool area or something I look forward to every year. They have gone from tropical colors two more neutral colors which is not my favorite. They do offer transportation to all the parks but need to adjust their schedule to adjust to park hours. You will not make a mistake choosing this hotel. PS Merlot the house parrot it is a joy to watch

Great Location, Awesome Restaurant and Very Helpful Concierge service. The Buffet at the Boat House Restaurant was very good, across the street from the hotel a short walk had many great restaurants. Close to the Theme Parks with the free shuttle. RICK THE SHUTTLE DRIVER TO THE THEME PARK IS AWESOME !!! Overall great stay and very good location.

I was looking forward to our trip and excited to stay at this resort. Upon arrival we checked in with the guard and asked for self parking. We were directed to a parking lot very far from the building. They do have an entrance not far from that lot but it is definitely far. We checked in at the desk and were given a complimentary glass of champagne. It was delicious champagne. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is also beautiful. They do have a lot of amenities that they offer as well. We did not stay long enough to enjoy them though. The reading for a low rating is housekeeping was not the best... there was black hair all over the shower wall and the bathroom. We do not have black hair. This would not even warrant a poor rating but omg every piece of furniture was so hard you could not get comfortable. My back and neck were so stiff from the bed and the super hard pillows as well! The bed looks nice but the headboard is softer than the bed. The sofa was also very hard. We had a ceiling fan in our room but it was so loud it made a grinding noise once it did finally come on. We actually turned the switches on and tried to turn it on hours before. We have up thinking it was just not going to work. We were getting in bed and it suddenly came on. It was so loud we had to figure out how to turn it off quickly. The decor is beautiful but the balcony is not even large enough for a chair. The rooms say non smoking but people smoke on the balcony and it blows into your room. As nice as the hotel & grounds are I would not stay here again. I like comfort and cleanliness this hotel did not offer that.

The resort is amazing and so much to offer. The gardens are very well kept, and add a lot to the experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a lot of meals at the hotel and the food is always spot on. I have stayed here several times over many years and it has always been a great experience. I would highly recommend it.
