I usually prefer more updated interiors and amenities, so when I first saw pictures of these rooms I was worried that I made a mistake in booking this hotel. I am happy I relied on recommendations of others and tried this hotel. It is a really different experience. The rooms are old, yes, but are kept up extremely well, and housekeeping does an immaculate job. We stayed in the Rania suite, which was beautiful. The staff provided us with small canapes and champagne upon arrival. Breakfasts were good - not a particularly large selection but the items were very good. So was the coffee. Unfortunately, during our stay we had quite bad rain. We did have a few minor leaks at the windows in the room, which was a shame when you see the floors and the walls of the suite, but all was cleaned up quickly and efficiently. Despite the weather issues we enjoyed our stay tremendously, have recommended this to our friends and would definitely return. Great service from the hotel staff, wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

A real experience! Amazing place . Rooms very charming. Restaurant deserves the fame it has thanks to the chef. Enjoy the poll facility in the twin hotel near by. Elegant and charming walking distance from the main piazza where you get the boat

Villa Crespi is a gem . Wonderful staff . Matteo , among others, went out of his way to make our stay memorable Beautifully decorated rooms. Breakfast is a feast of the best local products . It never disappoint and is a perfect retreat on beautiful , quiet,small lake Orta.

We visited villa Crespi for our anniversary. A wonderful retreat in a spectacular location. Especially in fall. Overall experience was great. We chose it for dining at Cannavacciuolo's renowned restaurant. Some disappointing details in both the room cleanliness and the restaurant plating, considering the very high expectations. Otherwise a top destination by any standard worldwide
