Great hotel right in the centre of Oslo within easy walking of the harbour. Service was really friendly and attentive. Both the reception staff and the concierge were trying to be helpful whenever you had a question and would remember your name. Rooms whilst not big are clean, very comfortable and modern. My bathroom was also modern although there was no bath just a shower. It is a bit of a maze in hotel so you need to get used to it. Bar and restaurant were excellent with a great breakfast served in morning. Highly recommended and good value for money by Oslo standards.

The staff is very attentive and competent. The location is great. Right in the middle of the town. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a varied menu and quality service. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Anyway, everything you could expect from a hotel of this level. There's a wine bar at hotel facilities, with a vast wine list, able to please the most demanding palates. It's a worth visit! The only reason I can't say it's the top is because they don't have a business center or, at least, a computer for guest use. This is unforgivable, considering it is a hotel with a vocation for business trips and with excellent meeting rooms and conference center as also. To make some adjustments to my conference lecture in Oslo, I had to rely on the goodwill of the always solicitous receptionists, who allowed me to use the concierge computer for a few minutes.

The front desk staff are very professional, and super efficient. The spa is also lovely and very quiet in the mornings, with the day beds snooze inducing. The rooms are clean, and a good size. The only downside was the service in the bar, where the late night barman was more interested in chatting to his friend, than serve us. Otherwise, excellent location. There's also a little 24 hour shop on the opposite corner to the hotel, that sells the most amazing pastries and white chocolate chip cookies.

Best place in Oslo, excellent bar, good restaurant with little choice but good food, quiet and very confortable room. Spa is fine, except not a good place to change yourself. Reception people are friendly but not always have the good idea that will help you. Still my best choice in Oslo at a decent price in October.
