Staff were extremely welcoming. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was excellent. Our garden suite room, dinner, wines, ambiance all exuded luxury. The level of service made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Our visit was faultless.

What a wonderful experience. Fantastic service, friendly and every want , need , desire is fulfilled. Fantastic gardens . Only 4# purely because we were not wowed by the food. The food was excellent but you can find very similar food in other establishments these days. Definite felt an emphasis on sustainability and the environment. It was an excellent day particularly with the sun out. We would return again but only for a special occasion. The citronella suite was beautiful .

We were very warmly welcomed by Peter in the carpark and Holly in the house. They, and – without exception – all their colleagues made the whole experience a delight. We came with very high expectations for the food and were not disappointed. The room and gardens were also the best we have ever experienced. The level of attention to detail is exemplary. With the food, one example was a soft mousse with a thin white chocolate topping made to look as if a small piece of fruit had been delicately splashed into it. The service from reception and restaurant staff was faultless and the bedroom was regularly thoroughly refreshed. We came for a big anniversary and will be back as soon as we can think of another big enough excuse.
