Newstead Belmont Hills in Paget, Bermuda
When Newstead Belmont Hills opened in 2008, it was the first new resort development in Bermuda in 35 years. Modern rooms with hardwood floors and mosaic-tiled marble bathrooms enjoy views of Hamilton Harbor, where complimentary water taxis take guests to destinations across the island. Golfers won’t want to miss tee time at the Algie M. Pulley, Jr.-designed 18-hole course overlooking the Great Sound – a complimentary round is included with each stay.
Get your blood flowing with an early morning tennis match. Lounge the day away at the edge of the harborside infinity pool. Take a quick jaunt over to a pink-sand beach and scour the shore for shells. Book a corner table for dinner, feeling the Bermudan breeze bid farewell to the sun’s last rays. Feast on fresh sashimi – unangi, ebi, ikura, maguro and salmon caviar – paired with a glass of chilled chardonnay.

Reviews for Newstead Belmont Hills
We, family of four, stayed at this hotel in summer, 2017. One of the excellent resorts in Bermuda, but expensive like everything else in Bermuda. Water Taxi to Hamilton is very convenient though frequency is about every hour, so you will need to plan for it. Hotel shuttle to Coco Reef Resort and beach was the icing on the cake. We spent two full days at this beach, its almost like a private beach, though Horse shoe bay beach is adjacent to it. Resort is spacious, infinity swimming pool is great to watch sunsets, but can get crowded. The restaurant on the premises is good and expensive. Overall, very convenient resort, but book ahead to get somewhat better deal.

We stayed at the Newstead four nights, in a comfortable one bedroom suite, and would definitely recommend this property. Our room was clean and in good shape, and the daily maid service was done well and promptly. The television did not work when we arrived (we were told the cable was out) but this was resolved quickly. We were very happy with the service from the front desk and property staff -- stopped in multiple times for directions, to order a taxi, to get change, and we were always treated well and with courtesy. Our balcony and the pool deck had a great view of Hamilton and the harbor. The free boat shuttle to Hamilton is a wonderful feature. Several other guests told us of problems they had with water -- as in they had no water at all in their rooms. We've seen this in other reviews posted here, so it's clear that the property needs some maintenance or repair work done on the water system and supply. We also visited the restaurant, Beau Rivage, staffed entirely by Filipinos. The food is very good, service attentive, but it's very expensive. We also took advantage of the spa, had massages and were very pleased with those. We would stay here again, but I would inquire to make sure we are assigned to a room that has not had trouble with water supply in the past.

Great place and location. Beautiful resort...the customer service is ok. Our dinner was great, front desk staff was great too..its a bit expensive but the breakfast menu and staff were not great Menu was restricted and the lady who served us was sub par to other servers in the restaurant.
My husband, 15 month old, and I just stayed at Newstead Belmont Hills over the holidays and absolutely loved it! We stayed in a one-bedroom suite overlooking the harbor. The room was very spacious, beautiful, and included a full kitchen. The hotel was booked at capacity when we stayed but we still found it very quiet and relaxing. We all had amazing and much needed sleep! The employees are very accommodating and nice. We requested a crib ahead of time and it was already set up for my son once we arrived (we got in very late because of airport delays). We loved the free ferry service to get to Hamilton— it made getting around with a stroller and baby very manageable. We were able to get groceries and eat at local restaurants in Hamilton with the 5-minute ferry ride. They also offer free shuttle service to the beach, golf course, and the airport. I enjoyed running on the Bermuda Railway Trail every day, which was close by.

We have spend almost a week.We wanted to stay one more night. The raise of the fee for the Night was incredible. So we decided to stay somewhere else. Breakfast could have been a lot better. Great view of Hamilton.
