The Breakers Palm Beach

How could I have forgotten to write this review for so long? Well, the answer is simple: when you walk into The Breakers, you are in paradise. You quickly learn to get your cyberspace BS under control, unplug, and pay atention to every little detail, and most importantly, the people around you. When you are here, it is so important to just breathe and ground yourself! We have come here over 10 times over the past 9 years, and we always have a top-tier experience. Here is why this resort remains unmatched for us: The valet is incredibly efficient despite the large crowds. The front desk is always kind and accomodating. Truly, every single employee is impeccably trained. Walking through the property feels like being in the Titanic movie, absolutely grand and timeless.The restaurants and bars are excellent across the board. Our absolute favorite part of vacationing here is heading down to the beach, grabbing a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas, and spending the whole day there. We love getting food from the nearby pool restaurant and staying put for hours. One main difference between The Breakers and any other hotel is that they never force you out of your spot just because it is 6 PM. If the staff has to leave, they let you stay on the beach for as long as you want. While the beach itself is not the absolute best in Florida, the natural rock formation gives it a beautiful, unique touch that is incredibly refreshing for the view. They also offer water sports for the young and enthusiastic! The Flagler restaurant is fabulous, but I will leave that for a separate review later since it is currently undergoing a major renovation a may be a whole different universe once it reopens! If you want a true luxury escape where you can actually disconnect and be treated like royalty, this is it. We will keep coming back for years to come!

My wife, MaryAnn, and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at The Breakers last night with friends. We began with dinner at Seafood Bar, where we were warmly welcomed by Claire. Claire went above and beyond to ensure that we had the perfect table and that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Our server, Rocky, was exceptional—professional, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her outstanding service made our evening even more enjoyable. We are sincerely are grateful to Claire and Rocky for their dedication to providing such a memorable dining experience. After dinner, our group visited HMF for cocktails. We were seated at a beautiful table, and our server, Heather, provided truly outstanding service. She was warm, gracious, and attentive, ensuring that everything we needed was always within reach. Our friends had recently been married and were celebrating their honeymoon. In a thoughtful and delightful gesture, Heather surprised us with a spectacular Baked Alaska presentation, complete with flames and all the special touches. It was a memorable moment that added even more magic to the evening. We cannot say enough about the exceptional hospitality we experienced at The Breakers. From beginning to end, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Thank you, Claire, Rocky, and Heather, for making our evening truly unforgettable. Beautiful and affordable for families with children. Shocked at the increase in cost of hotel rooms this summer of 2026 for families with children. Reasonable for couples, when children are included the price greatly increases.

My annual pilgrimage to The Breakers!! I absolutely love The Breakers and all the incredible staff. Maddie H. took Incredible care of us!! She is my new Lake Meadows. She made sure we had a great room & Dinner reservations, She was always available to us. Trish in the lobby Area is also fantastic. She is the navigator of the crowd, two bars and the pools. She is so sweet. Charlie in the seafood bar was our Go To Guy. I was so glad to see Dan the lifeguard back at the pool!!! And The Breakers helped him get through EMT school. Yeah!! Alana and Brooke Teaching incredible water aerobics class that we attended everyday. Julian in HMF, another employee that was off the charts. His parents have to be so proud of him. I’ll plan to go to The Breakers every year for a week for the rest of my life. I absolutely love The Breakers!! One of the very best hotels in the United States!!

recently dined at a restaurant at The Breakers, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The service was so poor that I would not even give it one star. For a property that presents itself as a luxury, five-star destination, the level of hospitality fell far below expectations. The staff appeared uninterested, unwelcoming, and poorly trained in the basic standards of fine dining service. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism, etiquette, attentiveness, and courtesy. Instead of making guests feel valued, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and dismissive. When guests choose to spend their time and money at a luxury hotel, they expect exceptional service, respect, and attention to detail. Sadly, that was not my experience. The quality of service did not reflect the reputation or price point associated with this property. Management should take a serious look at staff training and guest relations. If service standards continue to decline, many guests may choose to spend their money elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants where customers are treated with professionalism, warmth, and respect. I sincerely hope improvements are made because the property itself deserves better than the service I experienced. I cannot recommend this place and this is not the first time we stay there and every time we thought that maybe things will change, but we know that we won’t be back and personally I would fire everybody who works there all the waitresses, especially who don’t have a clue how to be in this business.
