This is our 4th visit. There’s a lot to like about this hotel. Architecture glamour and position. The new courtyard for instance is breathtaking. There’s a few things that let it down however . I’m sick of the additions. So a $50 burger is now plus 20% “Service” charge plus tax then the waiting staff stand over you to watch the “gratuity” gap filled in ! This has become the American disease. What’s a service charge for exactly ? That used to be tip !! We travel for business extensively throughout the world. USA is becoming a reference to “Rip off”. Cheap food days are gone. $50 burger is now 75-80 bucks. It’s pure greed and opportunism . The rooms are sufficient but looking a little dated for the quality of hotel, they are quite compact also. Shame I heard two couples in the same night complain. Is it tip Or service they said.

We enjoyed Breakfast at the Circle restaurant over 4th of July weekend. It is very beautiful just like the rest of the hotel. Our attendant Lluvia was the best. She made us feel very welcome and made our visit memorable. We rate her and the hotel 5 stars!!!

I had a 4 night stay in may at the Breakers, traveling solo.I have had multiple stays at this outstanding hotel over the years & never been disappointed.Everything about it is top notch. The pools, grounds &staff are what one would expect of a 5 star hotel.A special note of gratitude for the room upgrade which I believe was arranged by Erin.I look forward to my next stay which hopefully will be soon

This is an iconic old world hotel with beautiful architecture and 5* service. The rooms are a decent size ( deluxe partial ocean view) for 2 guests but not 3. The bed/ pillows are very comfortable with top quality linens. The bathroom is adequate size with double sinks and a walk in shower. The buffet breakfast in The Circle Room is excellent. There are plenty of restaurant and bar choices. So what are the negative. If you are primarily looking for a beach vacation then this is NOT it. The beach is tiny and littered with seaweed. During my (5 days here I don’t think I saw anyone in the ocean. Also the hotel is in the flight path of PBI so you will occasionally hear planes ( minor problem). Also at the present time if you go to the adult “ quiet” pool you will hear construction noise all day.
