My husband and I spent a few days at the chesterfield hotel in Palm Beach. The hotel is warm and welcoming and we enjoyed sunny days with our friends. Rooms are small but updated and clean. The Leopard Lounge is a wonderful restaurant for Any meal. Coffee is set up for n the lobby early in the morning and is delicious. We can’t wait to return next winter

We recently stayed at The Chesterfield in Palm Beach which was the first hotel my husband and I stayed in the first time I visited Palm Beach many years ago. We have stayed at other hotels including The Colony Palms (loved) but The Chesterfield holds a special place in our heart and I was excited to return since they have a sister Chesterfield as well as another location in London and was planning to book one of the two hotels for that upcoming trip upon our return. We had an OK room which was nothing special but it wreaked of some sort of room spray they use that spells of heavy cologne. We had to air out our room and it was quite offensive but you can request that they not spray this. The real issue was the following morning when we got out of bed and I looked down to find an enormous stain on the duvet cover and with further inspection realized in addition to that it had other small stains all over the entire cover. I was absolutely repulsed by this and my husband started to look at this and pulled up the mattress protector on his side to find an even larger and darker stain. This was absolutely unbelievable to us so I called the manager and she did come to the room with the housekeeping manager and was very apologetic. The hotel was very friendly to us offering to comp our first nights stay and buy us dinner but I have to say I still feel that our romantic return to The Chesterfield was a real letdown and now cannot bring myself to use a hotel in this group. I just don't trust that the brand is up to the luxury 5 star class and that is sad to me. Next year I think we will either return to The Colony Palm or try The Brazilian Court which everyone we know feels is the best place in PB.

My wife and I just returned from our annual stay in Palm Beach for a seminar given by MGH. Our trip is highlighted by staying at the Chesterfield in Palm Beach. Impeccably, run by Ms. Natalie Le Plerc, this "institution" is an encapsulation of class-charm- and hospitality. Her staff ..... throughout our entire stay .... do an incredible job of making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The food and service is spectacular- our breakfasts and dinners were served in the relaxing and beautiful courtyard....and the dinners were prepared to perfection. Thank you - Natalie ..... and your phenomenal staff for giving us the opportunity to have another wonderful stay at your inimitable " The Chesterfield". Suzanne and Bob Franco

The Chesterfield is everything you expect from an historic Palm Beach boutique hotel. The decor is traditional Palm Beach style and every detail is elegant, comfortable, and feels like you are staying in a wealthy friend’s guest room The staff are well trained in service with pleasure without being overbearing. The included continental breakfast was European in style and all foods were tasty. We ate outside in the luscious courtyard, as the weather was good. It was a first class experience from start to finish and we highly recommend a stay there. Happy to say it exceeded our expectation!!

We have been lodging at the Chesterfield for several years now, as have many of the guests. It’s an elegant older establishment, catering to “mature” guests who dress and act conservatively (like us). It has WiFi, but the signal isn’t consistent throughout the hotel. The fixtures are all manually-operated, so don’t expect automated flushing, touchless operation, or Dyson hand dryers! The rooms have all been updated and are lacking in nothing. The employees are all familiar, perhaps too much so. Orders are forgotten and few of the staff seem to be too eager to please - perhaps due to the 18% gratuity that’s appended to every chit. The public areas of the hotel are careworn and slightly dog-eared. I fear that a major renovation is planned, which will bring much-needed improvements but bring with it elevated room rates! The hotel’s Rolls-Royce limo remains a stylish carriage to dinner (and from, if you finish by 9:00!)
