At the last minute, my daughter and I had a quick get away. Found the Tideline Ocean Resort on line and booked it. It was in a great location - close to the airport. We took an uber from the airport and before you knew it we were on the beach. The staff was very nice but there was not enough of them. The gentleman that took our drink order on the beach was also the person who made the drinks!! I will say he made an amazing pina colada They need to have more people working. Food was great but you had to wait forever since they didn't have any people working. I hope that they improve on their staffing.

Dined here for lunch today. Learned that the 18% service charge on the food check doesn"t go to the waitstaff. Apparently this is a new change. So waitstaff have to ask you to leave them a tip. Horrible. I won't go back. Too bad because the food wasn't bad. Many other better hotels to stay at.

Why is this former Kimpton property still able to charge far above its pay grade? You pay for access to the beach and a pool. If those are your priorities then come here. If not go some place else. The rest of the hotel is in desperate need of some tender loving care. It would seem like parts of the building is falling apart. Front desk wasn't very helpful and nearly made me sign someone else's reservation. They very nearly charged me double eventhough this was a prepaid trip. Never given a warm welcome or told what amenities are included in our stay.

I stayed here for a visit with my son. A great location right on the the beach. A nice hotel but really needs to have some maintenance done on a regular basis lots of little stuff not taken care of. (Sorry but I am in the business and broken/damaged is not guest friendly) Staff a bit stuffy and unfriendly. Wonderful Saturday yoga class. Restaurant stayed busy , however I dined @ the Four Seasons which is right next door and worth the visit.
