This hotel is drop-dead beautiful. The beach, the rooms and the infinity pool and hot tub are to-die-for. Our room opens up to a personal ground-level deck that is steps from the beach. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the wait staff there are friendly and professional. The spa services were 5-star (and I know a good spa)- I had a massage and my daughter had a mani-pedi. It was perfect... BUT, here are the big negatives: 1) There is a thread of chaos that runs through the staff here (excluding the spa and restaurant, which are run totally separately). The front desk staff are not knowledgeable about the area or about the restaurant/spa/amenities and seem powerless to help you. Rest of the staff seem to be unmotivated. I was at the pool and asked 3 different people for towels. After 30 minutes we gave up and came inside dripping thru the lobby. 2. We were on the first floor. There was a wedding that lasted well into the night. It felt like we were sleeping in the middle of it. The guests lingered into the wee hours and we could hear every word. When I called the front desk he said the whole hotel was kept awake by it and management will be issuing some kind of refund/compensation. I'll update this when I find out what it is. BTW the restaurant is too expensive to eat for every meal and there are only two restaurants in walking distance, which were both very crowded for Saturday dinner (45 minute wait). So if you are considering getting a rental car, this might tip the balance in favor of it.

We had a perfect stay for a week. Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Location for visiting South Florida is hard to beat. Hotel offers plenty of beach chairs for their guests. Rooms are quite and very comfortable. House services is very attentive to your requests. Valet service is a bit pricey. We found the restaurant food and service to be very good. Spa services were excellent and the gym offers all the amenities needed for a great workout. Special mention for Nat, the Front desk manager. Our package was booked through JetBlue and it seems they forgot to forward the reservation at time of check-in. Nat took care of all the details and even upgraded our room. What was a perfect week spent here was made even more special, knowing we were being taken care of by the staff.

We planned a family celebration here for its convenient location to my Mom - it was for her 80th birthday. We were all quite excited to be together in such a beautiful place. We all arrived at different times and all had very different experiences. My husband and I arrived first - they couldn't locate our reservation, finally did and the manager who helped us could have benefited from a smile. Not welcoming at all. No bother - room was beautiful - had an ocean view. My brother and his family and Mom checked in next. When they got to their rooms BOTH were dirty and unmade up. Not a great impression. Other brother and family arrived - they had no issue. Nephew and his wife arrived from Dublin and it took almost half hour to get their room key to work. Hotel was lovely - decoration, amenities and location. Beautiful oceanfront location. Food was over priced - breakfast should be included for the price of the room. It was a $5 cup of coffee. No turn down service...insignificant complaint? Maybe, but again, for the price of the rooms this should be standard practice. Have traveled enough to know this isnt a big thing to offer. Finally, we had planned my Moms big party in the hotel restaurant. WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. There was only one waitress in the entire place - she was running around - she was great - but was swamped and hence service wasnt all it could have been. Drinks were ordered - several were awful and had to be returned - how do you screw up an Aperol spritz? It has two ingredients. Three cosmos went back - one of the most basic drinks there is. The food was horrendous for the most part. Half of the group couldnt even eat theirs. My niece found a huge piece of plastic in her salad....and then a hair in her entree...she clearly was having a bad night! Most of us left hungry and annoyed. This was supposed to be a great meal and it was a disaster. Luckily, the main event was us all being together. Overall, the hotel was beautiful...a bit overpriced, but we had a great time nevertheless...we stayed here opposed to the Four Seasons or Ritz for we all felt a smaller hotel would be better. Maybe we should have re-thought that.

Stay here; eat at the Four Seasons next door. Spotlessly clean; free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Lovely hotel staff. I was traveling with my mother; staff upgraded my room to be next to her. Fabulous views of the ocean Ate in the restaurant twice for dinner Awful. Breakfast was ok not great.

The Tideline was very quiet with easy access to the beach and ocean. The restaurant and bar was very good and reasonable. The gym is adequate for cardio and a light workout but a little small if you're looking to do anything like crossfit or yoga. Overall it's a great place to stay to enjoy the sun and fun.
