I stayed at the Tideline many times over the years when it was a Kimpton property. I always enjoyed the location, the hotel’s laidback vibe and the exceptional personal service. I’ll admit to some trepidation that things might have changed for the worst when I heard they were separating from the Kimpton chain. I could not have been more wrong. Not only did the staff retain their total commitment to personalized service, but undoubtably this visit will rank as my best Tideline experience yet. that is saying something in that I wasn’t even present for the stay. When two good friends announced they’d be passing through Palm Beach in advance of a tortuous two day marathon drive up the east coast, I thought of the Tideline. Reaching out around midnight to see if I might grab them a room, I spoke with Anthony. Recognizing I had been a frequent guest, he immediately agreed to squeeze them in. Calling back in the morning to confirm all was well, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jazz who suggested maybe a bottle of wine would be nice. She must have worked her magic as well because three hours later I received a very warm message from my friends. Not only had then been welcomed by name upon arrival, but the front desk staff, Jazz and Andrew, had chatted with them about their afternoon before handing over keys to the nicest suite in the house. No paperwork or the usual hassle, they were welcomed as family. Arriving in the suite, the wine had apparently gotten an upgrade as well and was accompanied with a personal note from Jazz welcoming them to the Tideline and encouraging them to rest up for their coming journey. Anthony must have immediately understood the service opportunity during the call at midnight. He could tell I was nervous about letting let my friends down in advance of the hellacious drive they had in-from of them — six cats, a pitbull, and an aging uhaul filled to capacity. Anthony understood instinctually that by providing them a memorable visit, he would be doing me a great service. Without mentioning it, he clearly pulled out all the stops. I don’t remember talking with Jazz about the reason for the visit but she and Andrew were well briefed. I would never have expected the upgrade they received. And for my friends to be referencing hotel staff by first name, as they described their evening plans demonstrated that not only had the Tideline retained its welcoming vibe, they had upped their game. Any hotel can respond to requests, it take a truly exceptional property to give their staff the training and freedom to hear the unspoken request. To not only recognize an unsaid need, but then have the confidence to go above and beyond, as a team, in delivering against it. One might say that Anthony, Jazz and Andrew are standouts, that I received a one-off, never to be repeat level of serviceI this week. I don’t think so, I think it back on it, I have the distinct sense that they are representative of the entire team, front and back office and this was just another day of exceeding customer expectations at the Tideline. Enjoy.

Wonderful location and atmosphere. The bar and restaurant was great, but a little pricey. However, several other good restaurants nearby. Shower did have low water pressure And not very hot water, but room and bath were beautiful. Pool and hot tub area nice, pool bar wasn't open I guess since it's not season. We will definitely go back.

If you want toohave an upscale beachfront experience, go to the Tideline in Palm Beach. The rooms are luxurious and the accommodations are first rate. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The in house restaurant is fantastic.

My daughter and I decided to do a last minute night on the beach and we stumbled on this place with fair rates and what looked like great potential . It really is a beautiful hotel on a great part of the beach but it’s been neglected . Chipped furniture , broken doors , non working showers and lacking the touches it deserves . It starting to feel like an old resort from the Catskills that has outlived its day but what a shame since it’s got such great bones .

First of all, the front desk representative Wayne deserves a raise for treating us so well. 10/10 parking is $27 but you get to come & go as you please and it has a view to die for wish I could of stayed more nights
