We wanted to play the Championship course but it was occupied so we played the Squire. I had no idea we would play the entire course from the cart path only. I had several times I ended up hitting the wrong clubs because I always seemed to be so far from the cart path. I have a heart condition and I just couldn’t handle this course. It should be closed in this condition until it dries out. The course was so wet we all ended up with mud splashes on our legs and didn’t enjoy it at all. The ball would plug or splash in the fairway. The course was in average condition for the Palm Beach area, but drainage is a major problem there. Greens were good. Fairways had a lot of weed incursion. Fortunately the staff shined as usual and made it more pleasant. Sand traps were packed hard and it played much more difficult. The wet slow fairways made the course very long for us. The whole course experience was very disappointing. I don’t want to talk down the resort because we love it there, but the Squire was a bad frustrating day of golf.

A group of thirty came to enjoy a sparkling weekend, and did. The staff merits the first mention. Everyone was pleasant, did whatever was appropriate and addressed us by name, if possible. Rooms are large with nice furnishings and very clean. Perfect breakfast buffet with made to order omelets, hot foods, excellent fruit assortment, and lox and bagels. We ate lunch at the pool, good choice, and swam for a couple of hours. Lots of chairs. A spa and fitness center are available , too. If you golf, I guess this is the place. None of us tried it. Our dinners were in the ball rooms, so we did not try the restaurants, but the banquets were quite good. Lots of well located self parking, or valet. Quite the night scene in the bar area. Large public areas.

Spent 2 nights with my company at this resort. I can only guess they chose the resort due to the golf course. My hotel room and the ballroom never cooled down. Hot and humid the entire time - indoors! Bed was comfortable but room was DIRTY. There was dirty water standing in the sink when I got in my room. I lifted the top off the paper coffee cup and it was filled with gunk. I then thought I would use a glass but it had funk in it as well. Towels appeared as they had been used. Only had 2 wash cloths in my room and they were not replenished. The first 3 meals (lunch, dinner, then lunch again - breakfast was just OK, edible at least) were AWFUL. Literally only vegetable was a ceasar salad - no other choice to make a different kind of salad. Just romaine, parmesean and crutons. That is it. Everything else was carb overload for all 3 meals. Dinner on 2nd night was much better witih multiple vegetable and salad offerings. Lunch on 3rd day was obviously leftovers from the night before. Bar staff during the day were extremely rude. They were rude when anyone asked for silverware, also told us we had to go back into the restaurant for a drink - just water or tea is all we were asking for. There were places set for us at the bar because there were not enough tables inside the restaurant so I am not sure why they acted so put out to have to do their job and help us with the basics of silverware and drinks. THEY ALSO TOOK PICTURES OF THE GUESTS WHILE WE WERE HAVING LUNCH and laughing. Wow. VERY LOW CLASS. My advice to the GM of this resort is hire people who at the very least can provide 5 star service so make up for the shabbiness of your resort. I am not a golfer so can't speak to the course. Would NOT recommend this resort to anyone who is not there to golf.

My husband was attending a meeting. The "upgraded" junior suite was very small. Not suite-like at all. We asked for a view and got a view of the front driveway. On our last night, the A/C was dripping through the ceiling tiles onto the marble floor and caused me to slip and fall. It was a huge amount of water. NOT A THING was done when we called and complained. I left with bruises and a cut on my arm and they couldn't have cared less. This hotel was badly worn and in need of a huge renovation. The staff was just OK. The bar is oddly located in the front entrance. They must specialize in bar drinks, not customer service.

This was one of our best buddy golf trips which we have been doing for 10 years. This is our first time here and we are coming back here. This will be in our rota. We played Squire, Fazio and the championship course and all of them are fun to play and the championship course definitely fit the bill. There was 2 inches of rain on Friday and yet the championship course was almost dry and the greens were firm and fast. The staff has been amazing, our experience starting with group reservations to stay to golf and check out has been nothing but wonderful. The staff is always ready to go extra length to take care of you. Our Friday round washed out after 9 holes and they took care of us by giving resort credit that night which paid for our dinners. There was maintenance done on Fazio course so they let us play on the championship course for free. That was totally unexpected, as we got ready to start the round Mike Williams stopped by and said he blocked tee times for our group to play championship course in the afternoon. We were small group of 15 golfers and yet they treated us like we are the most important guests.
