I guess I expected a lot more from this place. I’m very familiar with the area so I took the opportunity to finally stay here. The pool area is very nice and so is the gym facility. We requested an early check in but that wasn’t available when we arrived. Items on the premises are super pricey. I’m not one to complain about money but for 2 fountain sodas at the bar it cost 12 bucks without tip. Room I had was nothing special. Average and it had two full size beds which the sheets were like sand paper. Walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly. Room had a balcony which was nice to go on from time to time. Tv didn’t work have the time not sure if the cable connection was poor. The food at the breakfast buffet was good had nice variety little pricey. Drinks at the bar again pricey but to be expected. I guess I was surprised for the price per night and expected more so that’s where my disappointment came in.

Hosted a group of 12 at PGA National for 3 days last week! Fantastic facilities and a great team of service professionals. My contact was David Lederkramer, who from our contract signing until our event was a true pro! We had to be rebooked to the dates last week due to Hurricane Irma and his reaction and flexibility was incredible. Tyler, our concierge for golf, was equally good at communicating and setting up all of our needs for golf. We ate on property the first night at Ironwood and had a great meal with our group. I highly recommend this resort and I am already looking at dates to have our event in 2018! Nice job to the team at PGA National Resort....everything was great!

Great golf facilities and good facilities and options throughout, even if the Spa is a little tired. However it is poorly managed, staff ever changing and unmotivated by anyhting other than tips. Rip off prices through out - in particular the 'resort' fee. Why do places do this, if I book a room I am coming to the resort. What next an air consumption fee? Worth a visit to golf but do not be lured in by any special offers to stay. It will cost more than you think

This “resort” is all in the name. Although it may appear to be beautiful with their decor, the attention to detail and customer service is non existent. My trip to PGA National is for business and I come every December. We requested an early check in and we were told that it was first come first service depending on room availability, which is understandable to some extent. This request should be noted in the computer. We arrived at 3pm and of course the room was not ready. The lobby was filled with people waiting for rooms. The staff was more than in the weeds and seemed as though it was the first time they were fully booked and couldn’t manage it. My first stay here was several years ago and the room floor was disgusting with a toothbrush laying in plain site on the carpet. That set the tone for me as far as their cleanliness and attention to detail. This year was not any different- the the bed skirt had visibly crusty stains on it. The walls had dark stains down them as if coffee was thrown around the room. The rooms are far from being sound proof and we had a screaming baby next door and the people above is opening and closing their slider non stop. Walking down the hallway toward the spa we had to exit through a door that may have last been cleaned with the property was built. The dirt and smudge marks were crusted on and at eye level were every employee would see it. At the spa we were greeted by Roosevelt who was extremely kind and welcoming. The spa does a great job and their pricing is in line with most resort spas. The food from ibar is decent. The drinks are over priced. The coffee bar is good and average pricing. During our conference/dinner the wait staff cleared only the dinner plates and left coffee cups and dessert plates on the table for the entire function. Water and wine were not refilled at all. The morning of checkout, housekeeping was knocking at 8:45. I asked that they come back later. They did, 8:53 knocking again. Why does housekeeping knock on the day the guest is checking out? Do they not communicate with the front desk? Check out is 12. This is a first out of the numerous multiple countries. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. This resort offers nothing with the overpriced stay, you are paying for a name and golf course only.

I attended a 2 day conference at the PGA National Resort and it was nice. My room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy the resort but the grounds looked nice. My room was quiet except one morning I was woken up but a loud noise that may have been a truck backing up outside but sounded like a shooting sound effect from a video game. There were lots of families and kids of all ages around which seemed weird during mid week while school is in session.
