Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

We were fortunate to ring in the New Year at this fabulous resort! By luck, I found this location while looking for beach/golf resorts close to Orlando. We were visiting Disney but wanted to end our trip with some rest and relaxation. Hammock Beach Club was the perfect find! We stayed in a spacious condo in the Cinnamon Beach condo complex. The condo far exceeded our expectations. It provided plenty of room for my family, was decorated tastefully, had amazing views of the ocean from our large balcony, and had all the conveniences of home. Cinnamon Beach, just a few steps away from the condo’s front door is magnificent. We were able to take long walks on the beach and enjoyed picturesque sunrises and sunsets. It was like we were in a painting…so gorgeous! Florida was experiencing an unusual cold snap so we had to bundle up for New Years Eve but we were so impressed with the Hammock Beach celebration. There were plenty of fire tables to keep us warm as we watched the most spectacular fireworks display. What a way to welcome the new year! The weather finally warmed up a bit so we were able to rent bikes and explore the resort and surrounding neighborhoods on New Years Day. We also got enough sun to use the pools one day. They were heated nicely and the hot tubs were perfect too! We enjoyed casual dining at the Loggerheads Brew Pub and also enjoyed pizza and gelato from the resorts casual dining spots. The food was excellent. We live in the Pacific Northwest so the journey to Florida can be long but we enjoyed our stay so much, we hope to return for a spring break trip soon!

We always enjoy staying on this property. The campus is always clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's always such a beautiful time to ring in the New Year at Hammock Beach.

Large and super friendly family resort with amazing amenities and a beautiful beach! However, be aware that the 1bedroom sweet really is a studio. There are no doors! Also the pool has a 48” height restriction which is not noted on the website!

Went for a couple's night that we don't get to enjoy very often. Dark brown water in the hotel room- at 500.+ per night that's pretty gross. Totally booked spa but allowed us to buy a "spa package" we couldn't even use. Staff had many opportunities to step in and salvage the stay and couldn't be bothered to show even a small amount of kindness. Should have gone somewhere else.

Prepaid for ocean view 3 bedroom villa. When I arrived, I was told I was "upgraded" however I began to question the location change. Turns out they put me on the second floor, facing away from the beach. When I told them I didn't want the upgrade, they then said my room that I prepaid for no longer existed as it was "over sold". The only reason why I didn't give a 1 star is because the manager was kind and reasonable when I asked for a refund. I did not appreciate the deception from the front desk staff, nor the hotel giving away a prepaid room for myself and family.
