After traveling to Palm Coast to visit family for the last 30+ years, I finally decided to stay at the Hammock Beach Resort and I'm so happy I did. My husband and I checked in on a Sunday night and were greeted by the front desk staff by name as the gate attendant had alerted the hotel that we were on our way in. I love amazing customer service like that! Check in took a couple of minutes and we were on our way to our room. I had booked an Ocean View One Bedroom King Suite but when we got to the room, it was not an ocean view. That is my only compliant for this stay. We had to call the front desk and return to the lobby to get new keys to another room that was an ocean view room. Our room (438) was fantastic! Some things were outdated and some areas needed some new paint but I can't complain about the feel of the room and the comfort. The bathroom was large with double sinks, an oversized tub & separate glass shower which were all extremely clean. The king bed and bedding were absolutely perfect. We slept so well that night. We went to a late dinner at the Atlantic Grille ($$$$) and were the only ones in the restaurant which was so peaceful after a busy weekend. My husband ordered the Lobster Ravioli which he loved and I had Lobster that came with a crab cake. The lobster was great but the crab cake was so bland and mostly breading. Super disappointing since I love crab cakes. We asked our waiter why there were only a handful of people at the resort and he explained that their slowest time is between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think I would definitely return during this time of year...it felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. This is a great resort in a beautiful part of Palm Coast and we will definitely be back!

When my husband booked this resort for the weekend, I was excited. The first room (third floor) we were in had tiny bugs crawling on the kitchenette. We called guest services and were told they would send "an engineer." An older man with a spray bottle arrived an hour later and sprayed the kitchenette. After he left, we noticed the bugs were on the end table and coffee table, too. We asked to switch rooms. The next room (fifth floor) had the same problem. I again complained to guest services. The first guest services person we talked to cared enough to apologize and switch our room, the second one seemed to lack compassion. I don't know what kind of bugs they were, but when we came home (1200 miles away), EVERYTHING we took with us was thrown away or went into a quarantine. I won't bring bugs into my home. The grounds were nice. We tried the lazy river, but it was too cold to use. Overall, the problem with bugs in the rooms (including having to pack and move rooms) negated the whole point of the trip which was to relax and not have to do anything for 2 days. I ended up very disappointed in the resort. Next time I will stay somewhere else.

We first visited in April and then again in August after recommendation from friends. This is the perfect spot for our family. Two golf courses for me and beach and activities for the wife and kids. There are at least 5 restaurants on premises and we never had a meal that wasn't great. The oceanfront Atlantic grill was also renovated and open in August and that was great too. The waterslide and lazy river were hours of fun for the kids. We loved this place, and traffic is minimal in Palm Coast compared to many places in Florida.

The resort is very nice - many features and activities. A Minature golf course is not mowed well. Hallways feel so cold - because they are open to outside. Restaurants are expensive! There are no nearby restaurants in Palm Coast area - that turns me off. We had to drive down to Ormond Beach for breakfast - another half hour! Golf course fees a bit high.

My family and I were in Florida for a wedding in Palm Coast and decided to stay at the Hammock instead of a Vacation rental in the city. We were not disappointed, the 4 bedroom suite met our expectations for our 2 sons their wives, daughter, myself and husband. We enjoyed Delfinos restaurant, the pools, beach and outdoor activities. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
