Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

The resort has some positive features including the pools and pool staff. But our experience at this resort and with their “management” staff has been shocking. When we called the Conceirge to inquire about the party with loud music directly outside our room, Pablo answered and stated the party would end my 10pm. I asked for a manager to call me and he snarking replied that his manager would call after 9:45. We placed three calls in total and the last call was with the actual concierge who said he would have Chris call right back. No call back that night. No call by the manager the next day. We stopped by the Conceirge who called Chris and put him on the phone . Turns out Chris and Pablo are both assistant managers and Chris claims Pablo told him not to call. We’ve asked that their manager call since learning of their little scheme last night. To date… no call.

Very tired property room smelled awful (they did relocate us) Rooms not well cleaned and poorly maintained, the buildings were tired.

I wish I could offer a higher review because the people that work there are kind. However, after making two attempts to get a response from management, the bottom line is that the rooms are “dirty and dated”. Cleanliness is a controllable IMO and the room was dirty and dusty with crusty old pillows and a sunken bed. I think the property itself is pretty and family friendly but the effort to invest in and maintain the rooms is truly lacking!

Location is superb. Golf course is fantastic. Facilities need updating. Waterfront views from our room were amazing. Pool facilities great.

Beautiful resort with a multitude of amenities. Beautiful views and friendly people. The atmosphere was friendly overall. There was also putt-putt golf on the property.
