WOULD NOT RECOMMEND- COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL
Resort was decent. Half the pools/lazy river weren’t open(weren’t informed). We booked 3 rounds of golf in a 4 day period. Played the Oceans course(400.00 a round) only to be rushed by speed golfers. We allowed them to play through only to be met by ranger telling us we needed to pick up the pace(we were on time per gps). Not to mention we were paired with an 82 year old man. Spoke with the pro there(Eric) who appeared to be genuinely sorry. He informed us that he would refund the round. I asked to be copied on the email to Golfpass(who we booked trip through). After a follow up trip to the pro shop, as well as 3 phone calls over a 4 day period- we never heard back. I would strongly advise not going to this resort. How they handled the situation is just bad business.

Relaxing Stay
I had a very relaxing experience! From the clean and modern suite to the fitness center and inhalation room, I loved every bit of it. I wasn't able to connect to the wifi the 1st 2 days but I had no issues afterwards.

Great getaway!
We had a wonderful weekend at Hammock Beach. Great staff, food, views, and more! We can't wait to come back and visit. Beautiful!

Could have been better
Great location, excellent restaurants, physical plant is tired. Cost of packages is very confusing, especially with the Resort Fee charge. Don't wander at night, because walks are poorly lighted. Golf courses very good, but they didn't tell us we could only play 9 holes twice on Ocean Course due to re-building of sand traps. Very disappointing and yet still charged us the same.

Nicklaus & Watson Make Hammock Beach a World-Class Golf Resort
About 40 professional golf writers from the Golf Writers Association of America stayed at Hammock Beach for the weekend and played its two world-class Nicklaus and Watson golf courses in its annual golf championship. The venue is outstanding with the golf, accommodations, dining, conference facilities, and staff all excellent.
