Staff, great. Views, awesome. Gondola ride, sick af. Rooms in atrium where the doors don’t block the noise from the bar below, ABHORRENT! Multimillion resort and can’t soundproof the doors. Forks clanking, people chatting, hooting and hollering. Zero quiet.

We stayed at this hotel during Indian Wells and it was a good base for doing so. Despite our initial trepidation over some of the reviews mentioning cleanliness as an issue, we did not have any issues with our own room -- everything was clean and well maintained. (One reviewer mentioned blood in the bathroom stall -- I can confirm that those red splotches are part of the actual marble veining, as ours had the same.) Our room was on a lower floor near the atrium so we were a little bothered by the live music at evening, but the music stopped at a reasonable hour so our sleep was undisturbed. We used the tennis courts daily and the instructors there are very nice.

Amazing property. 5 star potential BUT we were shocked to see how unkept this resort hotel has become. The pool area , which should be stellar was unclean; and the pools as well as. And the bathrooms as well. Workers prioritized straightening out poolside chairs rather than mop the pool areas. AND not keeping the pools clean.

Every morning at 6:00 am, loud, squawking geese woke me and other guests up. They roost everywhere including guest balconies. They also poop everywhere. The little in room coffee maker broke, spilling hot water all over the desk. I asked if housekeeping could just bring a new coffeemaker and was told no because there was no housekeeping that day. 5 mins later there was a knock at the door. Housekeeping was making their daily rounds. They have beautiful bathtubs but the drain in mine was broken. There was a plastic bag and a cardboard box floating in the koi pond for days. The worst is none of the restaurants have gluten free menus. There isn’t even a GF noted next to items that typically don’t have gluten. I ordered sushi one night and told them I have celiac disease. I got the roll and GF soy sauce. It was delicious. Two nights later I ordered the EXACT same thing and was told the rice is made with gluten. The manager later told me there was a mistake. The chef and server mistook MSG for gluten. The sushi actually didn’t have gluten. It had MSG. The staff was all very nice, especially Ariel who rotates in the restaurants. However, dietary issues are not new. The food service team needs to get coordinated immediately. This resort could be exceptional but they have work to do.

I went to this resort on business and stayed 5 days. Let me tell you…they would not let you lift a finger here! Bags were taken to the room, room service was walked in and placed on the table, towels by the pool were delivered to your seat and more! Huge shoutout to the pool boy Carlos and towel girl Amelia. These two were amazing in making sure you gained your full relaxation by the pool. What a great area with many amenities. Looking forward to my next stay here. Great job, Marriott!
