Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort

We were very disappointed in the golf course conditions and our experience at Innisbrook. We played the South Course in March of 2026 and would rate it at a 3 out of 10. We would liken it to a heavily utilized public course that does the minimum maintenance to maximize revenue. Fairways and rough were extremely scraggy, brush and trees had been cut and left where they were cut, bunkers were almost gravel, and the greens had invasive tufts of grasses that bumped putted balls off-line. In addition, we were surrounded by dark clouds and thunder, called the pro shop to ask about a storm warning system, and were told it had none and it was our responsibility to determine if we needed to evacuate. Frightening…. Played the Island Course the next day. Conditions were slightly better, but fairways and rough were still scraggy and there was invasive grass in the greens. Would give it a 5 out of 10. It’s too bad as both could be wonderful. Perhaps it is using Copperhead, that we did not play and was hosting a PGA event the next week, to attract golfers. Go to Cabot Citrus, or Streamsong, or someplace else….

I have many opportunities to eat at some of the most highly rated and unique restaurants in the world. I would rate Packard’s Steakhouse as one of the more outstanding. ..The food was marvelous and prepared perfectly. Arianna took care of us at our table. She in a nutshell demonstrates everything that Innisbrook does right . She always had a smile, was thorough and knowledgeable of all our food and wine questions. The Tomahawk steaks were done to perfection. The manager, Brad stopped over to make sure that they had exceeded our expectations which they most definitely had. Arianna was a gem. She is a credit to the resort and is just the type of people person who creates success! Whoever hired her found a true gem. She made our evening something to remember!

Resort is nice, but very dated. Food at Parkers restaurant very good. Island Course - pick another course. Copperhead - very good - but be ready for mowers to come close to you. Also, there is not a big focus or care for women golfers in general on these courses.

Ariana is a fantastic hostess, very attentive and beautiful smile. Food is always great And the beet salad and grilled octopus are out of this world. New management has the restaurant running smoothly and efficiently. I will be coming back soon.
