Copperhead golf course at Innisbrook is a RIPOFF!
The overall property (the grounds, the buildings, the rooms, the restaurant) was in excellent shape. BUT be forewarned… there are NO ELEVATORS in the buildings, so you have to wrestle luggage up the stairs. Not an ideal situation for older people! ALSO, the Copperhead golf course was a total ripoff. For a cost of over $400 per player, you’d expect a pristine course with a reasonable pace of play. But the courses in horrible condition. Tee boxes and fairways were patchy, requiring the ball to be moved to avoid hitting off of dirt. Greens were average at best with lots of ball marks and crabgrass and Bermuda grass infested the fringes. The pace of play was excruciatingly slow and we never saw a ranger. The experience was a great disappointment and a TOTAL RIPOFF!

Choose carefully
I booked through the Innisbrook website under the premise of "special pricing" however I later found a significantly lower price using a 3rd party broker and when I tried to cancel was told my "deal" was nonrefundable! I was booked into a room with a parking lot view and the both the range and refrigerator didn't work! The Island course wasn't in good condition however Copperhead was terrific.
