Reviews for Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort
So here's the deal. I have been coming to Innisbrook since the mid 1970's. The resort was built with an emphasis on golf. All of the guest rooms in the lodges which are spread throughout the resort are owned by private individuals. These private owners put their individual units into the Innisbrook rental pool and Innisbrook then operates them as hotel units. You can rent a 1,2 or three bedroom. They also have basic hotel rooms. The lodges are somewhat dated but they were designed to blend into the landscape. Golf is the focus of the resort and the courses( especially Copperhead) are stunning. There is also a tennis complex and pools spread around the complex. They also have a spa on site. If you are looking for a glitzy resort with lots of bling, Innisbrook may not be for you. If you are looking for a resort with great golf, stunning lakes and wildlife and nice pools than I can highly recommend it. I would also suggest renting a car because there are fabulous beaches nearby.

Really just ok. The rooms are spacious. But really outdated. The concern e sometimes does not have enough tables set up for coffee. Not sure that I would have a conference here. Rooms smell old. The bed is fine. And it does seem clean. They don't tell you anything at check in. Like restaurants or spa or anything. It's like check in here is your key and go.

This was our second visit to innisbrook and it was even better this time. As everyone says the decor is a bit dated but it is high quality. The beds are so comfortable with excellent linens and blackout curtains to guarantee a great nights sleep. We had a suite and it had all the facilities you could need. One of the party played the south course as well as the copperhead and loved the golf. Charging $25 for a ride along does seem really cheeky when a round is well over $100 but both courses were great. The green keepers and the starters were great everywhere and the shop staff at the island course were so friendly and helpful. There is very little around innisbrook unless you want to drive so I couldn't spend too long there but the three nights we had were great. Only disappointment was we didn't get to try Packards as it is closed on a Sunday and Monday in the summer. Understood it wasn't busy but a Sunday seemed a strange night to be closed.

We stayed at this resort with some friends this last weekend, Only for one nite but we had a great time. This is a beautiful piece of property, very open with lots of vegetation. Their pools are awesome, they offer transportation everywhere inside the property. For those of you with electric cars make sure you bring your chargers with you, they have a dedicated area for electric cars with outlets to connect your own charger. That was disappointing but it did not ruin our time as I have a Chevy Volt. Very nice golf course.

You make your own entertainment here. Being that you must do all the work, this place is incredibly overpriced. Pools close early. Slides close even before pools. Not a bad place for golf lovers. We didn't have the worst experience but we probably would not visit again.
