Lovely clean hotel. Staff were helpful and we throughly enjoyed our stay here. My only issue was the lift to the pool wasn’t working and the are multiple flights of steps to negotiate. As someone with mobility issues I found this very challenging every time we used the pool. Staff were excellent offering to help but I think this issue will exclude people like myself from using the pool area until the lift is fixed. I particular mention to lifeguard - inika (?) - who was amazing and made sure I was catered for.

We were a family of 6, myself, my husband, my youngest son, his wife, her mother and her brother. We came to Mallorca to celebrate my daughter in law's 40th birthday. We could not have booked a better hotel. We were all thrilled by our rooms which over looked the marina and the cathedral. What a view to wake up to every morning. The breakfast was wonderful the food was so varied, both cooked and cold, and the cakes and pastries were very fresh. The dining rooms were lovely too, light and airy, overlooking the bay. In all my years of travelling I have never met such friendly, helpful staff as the ones at this hotel. (I'm 74). Everyone of them was kind and courteous to us throughout the week. When my son booked with the hotel, whoever it was he spoke to assured him we would have a wonderful holiday staying there, and they were right. We did!! Hope to return later this year or next.

The excellent experience of this stay and hotel started weeks before we arrived for our short break, and we cannot speak highly enough of the service levels that we encountered. This started from an e-mail from Alex in the guest experience department arranging things for us for us arriving, and continued the minute we arrived at the hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you day or night, and nothing is a problem at anytime and is always accompanied with a smile, which is not always the case, the hotel should be very humbled with the staff that they have. We ate breakfast each morning in the hotel, and the selection of food both hot and cold would be extremely difficult for someone to find any fault with, it also helps when you have such a beautiful outlook overlooking the stunning marina. Our room was also excellent and cleaned to within an inch of its life daily, by yet another ever smiling member of staff which was extremely appreciated The location of the hotel is about a 35 minute enjoyable walk to the main centre of the city, and the Cathedral and there are many things to see and do when in this area of the city. Our stay at this hotel was excellent and we are already looking to return ASAP and this is not only due to the hotel location and amenities, but the attitude of all the staff and this deserves a special mention Thank you Gran Melia and we will 100% see you all very soon

Where do I start! What a wonderful hotel. We have stayed in 3 other Melias in Palma and this was by far the best. If you want shiny and modern this hotel isn’t for you. We loved it for its old fashioned charm and atmosphere. All the staff were fabulous, they were cheerful, helpful and faultless. As it’s a five star we were a little worried we’d have to dress up and it would be too formal but it’s so relaxed and that relaxed atmosphere comes from the staff. There is a lovely outdoor pool and a small gym that overlooks the outdoor pool areas, there is also a small indoor pool, it’s not flashy with all the spa equipment but it was quiet and warm and I loved it! We booked a junior suite which was a great size. We had a separate lounge with a sofa and armchair and a lovely balcony overlooking the harbour. The room was spotless and yes, maybe a little old fashioned but we loved that. There is also an Audi that the hotel owns and we could use it for a day for free so we went off down the coast for an afternoon. We have friends that live in Palma so visit fairly regularly, we will definitely be staying here again.
