We visited the Annabelle hotel during the summer holiday .The staff were extremely attentive.I arrived to discover I had lost my wallet and the reception staff quickly phoned the transfer company and my airline and located my missing wallet which I managed to get back with all the cards and cash intact .The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure our holiday was very memorable.Looking forward to going back once the renovation are complete

The Hotel Annabelle is quite simply wonderful. From the staff at breakfast to the cocktail waiters to the pool attendants, everyone is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the Fontana (the included restaurant) is far better than I've experienced before at 'included' hotels. We were on a Half Board basis so made sure we stocked up heavily at breakfast. The ability to use the facilities at the next door Almyra Hotel is very handy and the gym there is more than adequate for a resort hotel. There is a supplement to pay in the two other restaurants in the Annabelle (plus the 2 'a la carte' restaurants next door too) but it's worth doing this at least a couple of times. The harbour is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are obviously several bars and restaurants there (definitely recommend drinking out of the hotel as the hotel is not cheap - €4 for a local beer as opposed to €2.40 in the harbour). The only thing that needs looking at is the temperature of the main pool - it's like a bath and not refreshing at all. The other pool (that has the bar attached) is a much better temperature and cools you off perfectly. Other than that, I can't fault the Annabelle - a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay here again if we come to Paphos (very likely).

The Annabelle hotel, its location is brilliant, right on the sea front and next to the harbour. The pool and gardens are beautiful with loads of sun loungers always available although the pool was quite hard and we preferred to swim in the sea. Overall a brilliant holiday and yes we will return as soon as we can. Thank you. Definitely recommended and I'm sure we will return.

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of July it was my birthday and we were lucky to be upgraded to a garden suite which we loved,it felt nice to be tucked away from the main hotel surrounded by well tended gardens, though a little extra lighting on the pathways at night is needed. We did get to see a standard room in the hotel and felt that it was very small and a little dated. We spent most of our time around the smaller garden pool with swim up bar, which we loved and as it was Over 30 degree's and it offered some shade. The drinks aren't cheap but are of a good quality and cocktails were amazing, it would be better if this was an adults only area though as it felt inappropriate to have kids sitting at the pool bar and jumping in, I could imagine this being a real problem in school holidays. I also used the top pool to do lengths which was lovely and warm. The pool towels are good quality and immaculate. There is no beach at this hotel, but they do have beds on a grassed area by the sea. We loved the food and the outside seating, we sat mainly on some big comfy sofa's overlooking the pool, breakfast had everything you would want and of a good quality. We are not buffet people so we're sceptical about booking half board, thinking we could still go out to other restaurants. However, we didn't go out once, the evening buffet was outstanding, we loved every meal we had, it was relaxed the waiters/waitresses didn't rush you we had a lovely bottle of wine each night and took our time over dinner. Entertainment in the hotel foyer we felt was a little stiff for our liking, but this is not a problem as you have easy walking assess to bars and entertainment outside. They did have some live music one night by the pool, this was outstanding (3 piece band) and lots of cocktails. Loved it. The staff go above and beyond to make sure guests are happy, it's like they have all had the most amazing customer service training. we did have an issue which we brought to there attention and it was resolved immediately. Can't praise the staff enough. I believe the hotel has a lot of returning guests which I can totally understand, unfortunately Paphos would not be a return destination for me, but we totally loved the Annabelle.

Just back from 14 days basking in glorious sunshine in a fabulous hotel. The Annabelle experience was positive from arrival, which was after 10pm at night and a time when you would expect to be handed your keys and told your room is 2nd floor down the corridor on your left and ushered on your way. That's not Annabelle service, here we were handed refreshing towels and cold home made lemonade and checked in personally and whilst we were escorted to our room our cases were delivered by the porter. We were left a plate of fresh wraps, fruit and water as we had arrived after dinner - First class start. Our room had a fabulous sea & pool view and had all we would need, a large comfortable bed, daily clean with fresh towels and an additional evening turn down service which was above an beyond although as a slight gripe this service was often attempted way too early when we were still getting ready for the evening at 7/7:30 which we combatted by using the do not disturb door hanger. Mini bar is very expensive but the price list is provided so you have the information to exercise the choice to use it or not. The Fontana buffet restaurant was outstanding. The food delicious and although different daily it was repeated week 2 but it actually left us looking forward to certain days like the Asian Buffet night and the Saturday night nachos and fajitas. The staff in the Fontana were efficient, friendly and very welcoming. particular mentions to Maria & Megan who were always smiling and make it their job to ensure you are enjoying your stay. We went on the Monday night to the Cypriot night in the Mediterraneo restaurant which had an additional cost and although the restaurant setting and entertainment was good, the food was somewhat disappointing and my partner ended up having something sent down from the main kitchen. This was not worth the additional cost. Sun beds are comfortable and the towels provided are fresh, fluffy and huge and always given to you with a smile from the charming towel//pool attendant. The reservation of beds policy works to a degree but recommend communicating your movements with the attendants as sometimes they are a wee bit over zealous at removing towels. Grotto bar cocktails are amazing and a recommendation would be to try the passion fruit Collins. However be aware the drinks as others before me have stated are very expensive and the hotel could do with reviewing this in particular the cost of bottled water. A happy hour would be good as many other high end hotels offer this service and it would be well received and potentially increase bar revenue in the long term. Signing for all your drinks over the course of the holiday feels like a tactic to have you spend more as you lose perception of cost. I kept track via reception to ensure We didn't overspend. A slight issue was with children in the pool bar area with balls and inflatables etc and one which we raised with the hotel and it was acknowledged and dealt with. Parents need to be conscious that pool water getting into drinks can not only ruin an expensive drink but also, as I experienced in the past, cause extremely upset stomachs. I appreciate kids want to have fun and enjoy their holiday but that should be in designated areas of the extensive pools at this hotel. We had no need to contact the Manager over the course of our holiday however his presence was evident and he was very hands on and engaged with what looks like a very happy staff team at a very efficient and beautiful hotel. We will definitely return in the future thank you for a wonderful holiday x
