We had a garden bungalow. bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and front and back terraces. Very spacious, cool, and enough luxury without being over the top. Two pools, one like a winding river with lots of beautiful garden and trees around it, made it feel relaxed, and private. Staff all very helpful and I think 3 lovely restaurants, one right next to the sea with spit roasts on at least 2 of the 7 nights that we were there. Lovely.

Relaxing ambience.Beautiful gardens overlooking the sea.Excellent, unobtrusive service.Good antidote to more commercial side of Paphos.Drinks prices somewhat high.Very convenient for Paphos harbour and adjacent to good coastal walks.Staff couldn't have been more helpful and always extremely pleasant and very considerate. High standards maintained in all aspects of the hotel.Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Annabelles hotel. I will start with the good points. 1) The location is excellent. It is on the seafront only a few minutes walk from bars, cafes, shops and the lovely harbour. 2) The hotel has extensive grounds with palm trees, water features and very comfortable sun loungers. 3) The hotel has a good size outdoor pool. It doesn't have an indoor pool, gym or spa but these are available at its sister hotel, Almyra. 4)The bedrooms are well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. 5) The quality of the meals in the restaurant is excellent and the space in the restaurant is comfortable. 6) The staff are efficient, friendly and hard working. However my complaints are as follows: 1) I stayed in February 2017. My son also booked a room. We booked 11 months in advance and asked for specific room numbers. I also e-mailed the hotel and asked for these rooms. The hotel didn't reply to either request, so I assumed we would get these rooms. However when I checked in I was told that rooms 1-9 all have side seaviews but rooms 4-9 are nearer the sea and a supplement must be paid. In any event the rooms were taken. I cant believe that over the previous 11 months they hadn't replied to my 2 requests and told me of this policy. 2) We asked for an adjoining room for my son. Despite 11 months notice, they put my son on a different floor. 3) On my first night I was woken by talking, coughing and the TV from the next room. I then saw that these were 2 family rooms linked by a dividing door. I went back to reception and for a change to a room without a dividing door. I was told that rooms with dividing doors were the standard rooms and I would have to pay more for one without. I refused to pay more, with 11 months notice they should have put me and my son in adjoining rooms with a dividing door. It did mean that I had many disturbed nights. 4) My son had a worse experience. He also was given a room with a dividing door, but his door hadn't been locked. In the early hours one morning two new arrivals walked from the next room into my sons room. they woke him up and thinking he was being burgled he rang reception in a panic 5) My son arrived at 9pm, the next day he was asked to sign a bill for 7.5 euros for a Pimms drink on the day before. He refused and complained to reception that drinks should be signed for at the time and not presented to a new arrival the next day. 6) We never drank at the hotel. A pint of beer costs 5 euros but there are bars within 100 metres charging 2 euros. 7) A lot of rooms, especially on the 1st floor have poor views. 8) There was a lot of discussion amongst clients about clients falling ill with some airborne respitory infection. One woman was in hospital for a week and on discharge was told she wasn't yet fit to fly home. Another rumour was that a dozen clients were confined to their rooms. Most clients were elderly and there was a lot of worry. However there was no information from the hotel management on the nature and scale of the problem and no advice to other guests. 9) The hotel says that evening meals are from 6.30 - 9.30pm.It doesn't tell you that it operates 2 sittings at 6.30 or 8pm and you have to book a sitting each day. 8pm is too late for us to eat and I asked for 6.30pm every night. I was told that I had to book each day separately. The 2 sittings meant that there was no staggering of arrivals and thus big queues. It was like queueing up for school dinners in a 5 star hotel. 10) One day reception told me that the 6.30pm sitting was fully booked. I was given the choice of waiting until 8pm or going to the sister hotel, Almyra, which operated flexible dining. We went to the Almyra only to find that lots of Almyra clients were pre-booking 6.30 meals at Annabelles because they were considered better meals. It was unbelievable! 11) There was a big argument in the restaurant when a woman asked for a free glass of tap water. The hotel refused and told her she would have to buy a bottle of water. 12) The hotel provides 1 free bottle of water in the room on arrival. My son took his free bottle into the restaurant but was told he couldn't drink it there. He was told he would have to buy another bottle of water.

Lovely hotel, great position, good food and helpful staff. WE can;t move about much but really enjoyed a restful, ideal stay. Very comfortable room, good room service and very helpful when we had problems- which were not their fault. Could not have been better and hope to come again.
