We don’t normally do reviews but this is NOT five star IMO and we feel let down and by the experience at Annabelle. However it’s not all bad. Good : Great staff who are friendly and try their best. Can’t be faulted. The food was good at the breakfast and in the Mediterranean restaurant on the seafront . The hotel is well located if you like Paphos . Bad : Building works going on all day and until 7:30 at night!! Really it was too much. Paid a lot for a sea view studio room. No mini bar until third day. No bottled water in the room. Sheets not changed every day . Towels not changed every day. The rooms have no second bolt or lock nor a spy hole to see who is at the door. No proper lock to the patio doors. The sewage smell in the evening wafting into our room from the terrace!! Noisy air con which isn’t effective . Limited storage for clothes . No bath just a shower. Website says wine and fruit on arrival. They were there were none. The swimming pools are cold save the main one which is fine . Check in is at 2 but when we arrived at 2:30 the room wasn’t ready until 3:30 . They were however very ready to tell us we had to leave at 12 on check out . No gym or spa at the hotel. You have to go to the sister hotel for this. website says all Re opening in March but wasn’t ready for us in April . I am sure it will be good when it’s done . They were working all day on the top floor to sort the new spa but working on this disturbed the peace and quiet during the day . They were refurbishing rooms as well which caused noise and disturbance. The cold water was switched off to the room for two hours on one day and then one evening we had no hot water for a shower. Until they sort themselves out we won’t be back. So disappointed as this should be a great place to go. Perhaps when the works are completed it will be better.

The hotel offers nice rooms and a good and rich breakfast, together with a beautiful pool area and a very good location. However, it should be noted that our room was not cleaned throughout an entire day. In addition, the hotel was undergoing some renovations while we stayed there, which meant loud drilling noises all day long, unpleasant smells in the elevator and even a 20 minutes mid-day water outage. Also, you should note that the spa and the gym are not in the hotel, but rather in its sister hotel, Almyra, which is right near by Annabelle.

We recently enjoyed a short break in this great hotel. The location on the front close to the harbor allows direct access to the seafront walkway. The public areas are lovely with ample availability of sunbeds - we usually chose the deck overlooking the sea. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good with breakfast being truly outstanding! Whilst we were there there was some building work still going on but we did not find this intrusive. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, in particular those in reception. We plan to return next year.

Best hotel on the front overlooking the water. Breakfast outstanding everything you could think of and constantly replenished. Half board buffet dinner very good value. Easy walk to town (max 5 mins) slopes in places of steps and elderly relative managed with ease using their rollator

Just spent 2 weeks at Annabelle Hotel Pathos . 1st April-15 April Incredibly disappointed, apart from the hotel at this moment in time, being a building site , any thing brought to the attention of the management , was greeted with a shrug of shoulders , my problems would take to long to relate here, but a three page (A4) letter was handed in at reception for attention of the manager , as of yet no response , no acknowledgement. My apartment —27—- £285 per night , was money I had worked hard to accumulate , and I feel cheated. I would rate this hotel Maximum of 3 stars not the 5 stars they allocate themselves Any further information s60bwj@hotmail. com Brian johnson
