We recently enjoyed a short break in this great hotel. The location on the front close to the harbor allows direct access to the seafront walkway. The public areas are lovely with ample availability of sunbeds - we usually chose the deck overlooking the sea. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good with breakfast being truly outstanding! Whilst we were there there was some building work still going on but we did not find this intrusive. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, in particular those in reception. We plan to return next year.

Best hotel on the front overlooking the water. Breakfast outstanding everything you could think of and constantly replenished. Half board buffet dinner very good value. Easy walk to town (max 5 mins) slopes in places of steps and elderly relative managed with ease using their rollator

Just spent 2 weeks at Annabelle Hotel Pathos . 1st April-15 April Incredibly disappointed, apart from the hotel at this moment in time, being a building site , any thing brought to the attention of the management , was greeted with a shrug of shoulders , my problems would take to long to relate here, but a three page (A4) letter was handed in at reception for attention of the manager , as of yet no response , no acknowledgement. My apartment —27—- £285 per night , was money I had worked hard to accumulate , and I feel cheated. I would rate this hotel Maximum of 3 stars not the 5 stars they allocate themselves Any further information s60bwj@hotmail. com Brian johnson

Having got married in Cyprus on the 4th April, we arrived at the Annabelle on the 7th for a short honeymoon break. Expecting a lavish, relaxing break! Unfortunately due to the noise and building work going on, our break was some what unrelaxed! Noise at all hours of the day, one day we could still here work at 7pm, went down to reception to be told they were working on the room above! Not a 5 star service or what you expect from a 5 star hotel! Another day there was sewage coming up through the toilet in the room next to ours so much so it overflowed right out to the corridor leaving a horrendous smell! Again not what you want on your honeymoon! On the plus side the staff make the hotel and are so friendly, they can’t do enough for you! However overall we were disappointed having had no prior warning about the work happening, we definitely would not have stayed here if we had known!

Currently staying here and it’s hard to ignore that the hotel is like a building site, with work going on each day for 12-14 hours. Prior to arriving we had been informed that the work would be finished by March so we decided to stick with the hotel.  Good points: the food is of a very high quality, the staff are friendly and polite. Downside: as mentioned, the noise and disruptive building work, power cuts, long periods without water in the room, unprofessional builders peering from the 4th floor at ladies in bikinis by the pool and on balconies, no fridge in the room for 3 days. After numerous visits to reception, we were offered two other room options to relocate to, both of which were below the standard of the accommodation we originally booked, so unfortunately no deal. In truth, the hotel should have closed during this work. Some other guests have told us that customers that had booked with one particular tour operator have been told they can't stay due to the ongoing work. I agree with their approach. It’s a lovely hotel, lucky to have a loyal customer base but massively let down by its current issues. The hotel should have been upfront and informed guests about the state of the hotel before arriving.
