Just got back from a week at the Annabelle and I can honestly say that in all my years of travelling and staying in hotels, the service was the best I have ever had. I'm quite sure some snooty Mandarin Oriental may be equivalent but not with such warmth and care to make everything just right. I travelled with my 87 year old mother who fell (outside of the hotel) early in the week and they couldn't have been more efficient in getting help from the local clinic (which was also excellent) and in looking after her for the rest of our holiday. From the restaurant team, to reception, the pool boys and housekeeping everybody was very kind. Every detail was remembered from her own stool at every meal to prop her leg up, to the pool boys taking her arm and leading her to the sunbeds. The hotel itself is what you would expect from a 5* in Cyprus and its location is very special with beautiful ocean views. The food is pretty good, I'm not great with buffets, but this was actually quite good and sitting outside of an evening was lovely. But what makes this hotel outstanding are the people. A very big thankyou to you all for making what could have been a disaster into a lovely time away in the sun. Congratulation to the Manager, you'd got a great team and I'm sure we will be back.

Overall excellent, I would definitely return. The hotel is clean and well maintained, unlike many other hotels the pool is warm and not freezing. All the staff are friendly and incredibly attentive, they make you feel welcome and take the time to make sure you are having a lovely time, impressive. The food at breakfast and dinner was good with lots of choice and the Greek night is to be recommended. A few areas to improve, these are not complaints just things to make it perfect; wifi is terrible around the pool, I couldn’t even listen to Spotify, good wifi is to be expected. Lunch was disappointing, expensive and small portions. Last year lunch downstairs was excellent. Something has changed and not for the better. Only 100 metres away there is a great place where the food is much cheaper and much more generous. We paid about Euro 90 for four people for lunch and only Euro 50 just round the corner with twice as much food.

My family had a short stay at the Annabelle in May 2017. The staff were exceptionally accommodating of special dietary needs and the service was fabulous. We stayed in the two-bedroom suite to fit our family and it was spacious and very well appointed. Views from the balconies were great. One of the most enjoyable hotel stays ever.

Arrived to the hotel approx 22 in the evening and was offered a drink in a sofa when the receptionist made the registration with an IPad Was offered dinner at the Buffet and was then followed to the room by the receptionist and explained the hotel facilities. The hotel is nice with a beautiful location in the center of Pafos. The service is excellent. The food is good and the Buffet has a variety of themes over the week. Also the breakfast is for everybody. The rooms are very clean. I will look forward to come back to this hotel. Only a small minus, the price for a late check out 140 € for 6 hours!

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel and can honestly say there is nothing average about The Annabelle! The service was beyond excellent - the owners and management should be very proud of their hard-working, extremely helpful, happy, smiley staff for whom nothing was too much trouble and themselves for the excellent holiday experience they extend to their clientele, some of whom re-visit on a regular basis, which is what we fully intend to do. Whilst it is a great hotel the standard rooms are quite small and so if you have a vast holiday wardrobe, like mine, then I would suggest upgrading to a bigger room such as a Deluxe Sea View, which is what we will be doing on our next visit - it is worth the extra money, but having said that, the size of the clean and tidy room didn't spoil the enjoyment of our holiday at all. The sunbed situation around the pool is a bone of contention for me in most of the other hotels I stay in, but the 60 minute and 90 minute ruling works a treat and the staff do adhere to it - if you leave your bed unattended for more than the stipulated time, your towels will be whipped off as quickly as you can say Jack Sparrow and quite rightly so in my opinion. There are still people queueing up for towels or guarding their chosen spot as if their life depended on it at 7.30 in the morning, but on the whole the system works very well. The drinks are not cheap but the experience is priceless - we stayed in the Lobby Bar every evening after our meal, because of the relaxing ambience and excellent entertainment - a welcome change from some of the in-house shows we have been subjected to over the years - not a whiff of an Animation team encouraging people to take part in rowdy renditions of timeless classics such as the hokey cokey and living next door to Alice! Although having said that I have been known to take Mum dancing and belting out some of the Nolan Sisters greatest hits to a different level myself! The quality of the food is excellent, we normally eat out a lot in Paphos because of the many great restaurants in the locality, but the food in The Annabelle is of such a high standard that we didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else for the majority of our stay. As with one if the other reviewers, my weight gain over the past 10 days is shocking, but well worth it! I would highly recommend this hotel not only because of the excellent brand they have produced, but because unlike many other hotels in Paphos the owners are not, so it would appear, looking to change the traditional look and feel of the hotel or in anyway compromise the level of customer satisfaction they have achieved since The Annabelle Hotel opened its doors 31 years ago - for which I applaud them. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and we can't wait to come back.
