Wonderful 5 ⭐️ hotel with 6⭐️ caring. This beautiful hotel is well located. I went on a trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. There was a mix up with our room. We were supposed to get 2 twin beds. Our room only had 1 bed and it was too small. Jade showed us some other rooms however, they also had only one bed. There would be an appropriate room but not until the following day. That meant that we’d have to share one bed for the night. I was exhausted from a transatlantic flight and upset that I wasn’t getting what I was supposed to. Guiseppe, the manager came to the rescue. He told us that he wanted us to be happy. Until our large twin bedded room would be available, he’d give us each our own rooms. So, we had 2 rooms at no additional charge. All of our belongings were moved twice and placed exactly where we had placed them. Tanner, the Concierge, was fantastic. He made sure that all his suggestions fit our particular needs. I had to get a prescription filled. The instructions were over 3 pages, all written in french. He not only read them to me, but stayed with me and made sure that I followed all 6 steps of the protocol so that there was nothing lost in translation. I’m sure that other reviews will tell you about the beautiful dining room , gorgeous outdoor terrace, exceptional food etc. That is all true. What makes this 5 star property different from others that I’ve stayed at, is how they really go out of their way to make you feel cared about and meet your needs. It feels like being part of a “healthy family “ !

Great location, nice hotel. Interiors could be a little refreshed, but overall great place and value.

Our family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) had an amazing stay at Hotel Castille Paris. We stayed in a beautiful, large suite. We checked into the hotel with champagne in hand. The location was perfect for touring in Paris. Before bed our kids played chess in the lobby while we listened to a piano player and enjoyed french wine from the cute hotel bar. In the morning our kids were blown away with the breakfast buffet (including a chocolate tower!) which we ate in the Parisian feeling courtyard. The staff including Aaron at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. We received upgrades, treats in our room, and overall really felt taken care of in every way. We will be back!

The hotel is well situated and the room was fairly large. For this it is rated 5 stars But during our stay we encountered several issues: (1) The room had sunshine most of the day (a plus) so it can get very warm. Stayed for three nights but the cooling did not work (the hotel said it was under repair but other rooms had air conditioning). Hotel’s solution was to bring a floor fan since windows cannot be opened. The front desk desk could not tell us when the repair can be completed. After complaints from Viking representative and our repeated inquiries, it was finally fixed late next afternoon. Coordination between front desk and maintenance? Also, why did the front desk assigned us the room despite the lack of cooling? (2) The room came with a bathtub and a separate shower (hotel said not all rooms have shower). The separate shower does not have shower door or curtain so the water slashed out and flowed down to the rest of bathroom. The solution the second day was giving us more towels to mop the water? Finally on the third day, a PVC pipe with plastic sheet was installed. Knowing the deficiency, why did the hotel did not pro-actively installed this? (3) The bathroom comes with double basins (a plus) but both stoppers did not close. Wasting a lot of water. The repair took 2 visits from the maintenance crew. Took 2 visits because the crew insisted both were repaired but when we showed that on of the drain plug was still leaking water. Why did the repair did check that the leak was fully repaired? Reported all these to front desk but their actions did not matched the results expected of a top 5 star hotel. The night before our departure the front desk disputed our earlier review (deleted). While the manager accessed the issues above, he felt the hotel was sufficiently apologetic and gave us half bottle of champagne. The morning of our departure the general manger came to discuss and apologize for the troubles. She was very receptive. With the attention after several complaints and ultimate successful repairs, we raised the rating to 4 stars. This was my second time staying at Castille. The rooms are small, but still they manage to sqeeze in everything you need. You have a small desk, wardrobe with safe and separate bathroom/toilet. Because of the great location I can manage to live with the small space. I simply love this area. Nearby so many great restaurants, shops, Louvre +++ The staff is very friendly, check in very effective. There is a bar and restaurant, even a small gym. Rooms are clean. Nice bedlinen and towels. Bathrobes. Turn down service.
