I stayed here on business. Overall, the staff is helpful. The rooms, while small, are well appointed. LOVE the Etro toiletries. The continental breakfast is for the most part good -- but for a place of this price range and quality they really could have better eggs.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Castille Paris for 3 nights in July. The hotel was quaint, rooms were lovely and staff was courteous, helpful and professional. I booked this hotel on a whim because of its great location and positive reviews and could not have been happier. I have stayed at numerous hotels in Paris and this is amongst the best. When travelling with my family, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, awesome location, excellent staff, we arrived early afternoon and we were shown to our room almost immediately even though check in was hours away, the concierge was extremely helpful In making our short stay in Paris memorable by helping us enjoy the city to the max within the time frame. You could eat there or lots of cool places close by as well,I would stay again next visit

We booked a 3 night stay at Castille because we had enjoyed it so much on a previous visit. How disappointing it is when one of your favorite hotels gives you a rotten experience. We were "upgraded" to a loft duplex suite, but actually the room is not so pleasant - tiny sitting area with no TV on level 1 and a tiny bedroom above - which gets so unbearably hot at night as the air only seems to work on the lower level. Be careful not to get one of these rooms! Additionally, we had one night disturbed by false fire alarms, constant noise during the daytime by workmen on the roof, no hot water for one night and morning, and no internet for one night and morning. All in all, I truly regretted this stay.

I was expecting the worst upon our arrival to the Castille (we booked our stay through a blind booking, something I had never done before) however I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. The hotel is centrally located near all the major sights and a short walk to the Concorde and Madeleine metro stops. The hotel is definitely a boutique hotel so if anyone is looking for a Westin or Marriott type feel this is not the place for you. My first impression was the lobby which is nicely furnished and comfortable. (There is a resident cat at the hotel. It was kind of funny seeing him lounging and sleeping in the lobby. He did not approach anyone and was very quiet) Rooms - We specifically requested rooms facing the garden and not Rue Cambon and were glad we did (due to the noise from the street). I have been to Paris multiple times and was expecting a small "European" type room but was very pleased with the size of the room. It was spacious (for European standards) and nicely furnished (also very clean!). The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The view of the Eiffel Tower was also an added bonus! The bathroom was a great size with a lot of counter space. The amenities (shampoo, soap, lotion) were very high quality. A downside was that the bathtub/shower did leak when showering which was a bit frustrating and made us use towels for mop up the water (not very environmentally friendly but we had no choice). Also the toilet room was claustrophobically small. Breakfast/Terrace - The breakfast was plentiful with great "american" and European options. The wait staff for the breakfast were very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant area was comfortable and nicely furnished. The terrace is LOVELY unfortunately the staff in the evenings were not very attentive and it was difficult to get a second drink. However, I definitely enjoyed some free time sitting and reading a book. Front Desk/Concierge/Bellmen Staff - The front desk staff were very professional and polite. They were courteous and easy to work with. There seemed to be 3 Concierge on staff. Our favorite was Roman (sp). He was the most knowledgeable and helpful, as you would expect from a Concierge. Naheem was also helpful with restaurant reservations. There was also a 3rd concierge who was very new. He was very friendly and nice but kept referring to Naheem. (I"m sure he will be great once he has more experience but for our visit he was not very helpful.) The bell staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Castille!
