I have stayed at Castille for 2 weeks stay and I was not very happy with the service. My stay was over 2 weeks but I checked out during the week end. The first week, all was fine. The room was a bit small but very calm and fully refurbished. Breakfast was good and staff at restaurant was very nice and friendly. However, once I came back after the week end away, it went all wrong. I was initialy given an old room (room #1) where even my suitcase could not fit. Given that I arrived late, I just complained to reception. The day after, when I went back after a long day of work I realised AC was not working in the room#1. Technician said it cannot be repaired. I reminded reception that I complained at check in and asked to change room. I was put in room #2 that was on 1st floor at 10pm and was informed that the room was a bit noisy, which was an euphemism as from 12am until Morning I was waken up every 15minutes by delivery or trash trucks. The next day I complained again to reception and threatened to leave. When I came back my lugages (that I did not unpack for 3 days) were moved to a duplex suite (room#3) and offered a bottle of prosecco. I also received apologie notes from hotel managers. At last, at check out I was given an incomplete bill (showing only charges) and had to call the hotel twice to receive the correct one. In conclusion, I was moved around 3 different rooms during a 6 night-stay including a night where I barely slept. I would definetly not stay again in this hotel.

I know most of the reviews for this hotel are glowing....but I'm sort of tepid. We've been to Paris many times. The location looked great- a quiet one way street, next to the Chanel atelier. The public rooms are lovely, and I was hopeful. The staff was nice....Then we got to our room. Rooms are very small (we had a 'superior' room) with a small but nice bathroom and claustrophobic toilet room. Dull furnishings and one small window --so room was dark. It also faced the street --and you DO hear garbage trucks, etc. in the early am. I could also see my neighbor across the street..The street closes when deliveries/pickups are made to the hotel. (Not fun to walk a long block in heels after long dinner...) Staff was nice but less than helpful on things like interesting restaurant ideas, and getting non- foam pillows and extra towels. We valeted our car for but had to fetch it ourselves because the valet was "sick" the next day (and I guess they had no subs?) Figured we'd give the hotel restaurant a try- only to discover it's closed on Sundays. (Don't most hotel restaurants stay open 7 days???) These are small things but they all added up- and we were left feeling....sort of meh...wouldn't go back for the price- there are better places.

My wife and I recently traveld to Paris. Since it was our first trip to Paris and the reason for our trip was our honeymoon, we wanted to pick the perfect place to stay. We decided we would stay at Hotel Castille and we were not disappointed! Hotel Castille is the perfect place to stay while visiting Paris. It cannot be beaten for location, being only a short walk from the Louvre, the Christmas markets (if you are there at Christmas time), the opera, Place Vendôme, Champs-Élysées, Arc De Triomphe, lot's of great restaurants, public transport and shops. As soon as my wife and I walked into Castille, we were greeted with friendly smiles and our bags were looked after by the doorman while we checked in. The reception staff were very friendly, polite and professional which made checking inn very easy. We were escorted to our room and a very short time later our bags were brought up for us and put in our room. My wife and I stayed in a delux room, which surprisingly was very spacious and warm (which was great, as we were staying at Castille over Christmas and it was very cold outside). Our room had a beautiful king size bed that was extremely comfortable to sleep in and pillows to go with it that gently held your head while you slept, our bathroom had a bath and a shower head above the bath, plus two very comfortable bath robes and slippers, a towel warmer rack and a separate heater. My wife and I could not have been happier with our room, it was just perfect! Down stairs was a luxurious reception area, concierge desk, cocktail bar and restaurant. The concierge was fantastic! And could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cocktail bar had a fantastic selection of drinks and very friendly service. The restaurant was amazing, my wife and I only ate breakfast there as we always ventured out for dinner, but breakfast could not be beaten, anything and everything you could think of was yours to enjoy for breakfast. Castille also has their own cat, 'Heliot'. Heliot is very friendly and loves a good pat and can quite often be seen lazing around in the lounge and reception area. Hotel Castille is an amazing five star experience and has exceeded my own and my wifes expectations beyond anything we could have hoped for. My wife and I will book Hotel Castille and nowhere else every time we visit Paris from now on. We cannot recommend or speak highly enough of Hotel Castille. My wife and I would like to thank all the staff at Hotel Castille for making our first trip to Paris and our honeymoon such an amazing experience.

Steps away from some of the best of Paris: Madeleine, Tuileries, Concorde, Vendome; L'Orangerie, le Louvre. This was a 30-hour stay so the location of the hotel afforded me the opportunity to see the traditional sites of this eternally beautiful city. Rue Cambon is a quiet street that is centrally located and a seven minute walk to the metro. I particularly loved the fact that I could get up in the morning and enjoy a long, scenic walk to the Ile St. Louis and Notre Dame. The brunch in the tastefully appointed dining room cannot be missed!
